Eligibility: it is a merit list based admission for everyone. Our college is one of the best colleges in Kerala, so the Kerala Engineering entrance examination rank holders who are eligible to apply(50%in plus two with maths, physics chemistry together at least 50%) may apply in this college. There are some reserved seats too, for the backwards community, religion, physically challenged, union territory ex-soldiers daughter or so. Etc.As it is an aided college, there are some management seats too. For these seats management conducts examinations and put a list according to merit and (some recommendations) As per my knowledge there are few NRI seats too. I got the seat on merit by writing the Kerala Entrance Examination. Nowadays the merit list is based on higher secondary marks and entrance exam marks

  • For getting an admission in our college(NSSCE) in merit seat, the entrance rank should be above 6000 in KEAM entrance examination.
  • For particular courses the cutoff rank taken in merit seat is different. I took COMPUTER SCIENCE as my choice. I got my desired course and subject because my KEAM rank is 4466. so I easily got a seat in CSE department in NSSCE.
  • This year most of the students hardly tried for CSE. But the students who have rank 5000 above only got admission there in CSE department.
  • I took four entrance examinations which are JEE MAIN, KEAM, CUSAT, ICAR.
  • I got selected in KEAM and CUSAT.
  • The typical cutoff our course also depends upon the caste.

The eligibility is based on rank attained on the entrance exam conducted by cee Kerala. Those who have a minimum of 75% marks for the higher secondary or equal course and a minimum of 20 marks in the entrance exam can apply for rank. And rank is based on both scores. I had the all kerala rank 8142.
