Placements & Internships : The placements of National Institute of Technology are decent . The highest package in my course is 80 lpa and average package in my course computer science and engineering is decent enough 24 lpa. The companies that mainly visit our college every year are Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Zomato, L&T, SAP, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai etc. The percentage of students securing campus placements are 94 percent in my course and in overall under graduation is 89 percent. The eligibility criteria is score good CGPA

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I am studying in the National Institute of Technology in the course computer science and engineering to join in this course we have score a good percentile in JEE Mains exam . For entrance exam we have apply to application which is available in the official website of NTA . Cut off for my course in this college is 15000 rank in JEE Mains examination. I didn't get any reservation benefits. My overall experience in this college is very good because the environment is peaceful and pleasant .

Fees & Scholarships : The fee structure per semester is the tuition fee is 80000 and the hostel and good feeling is 32600 per semester and some part is refundable. No job opportunities are available on campus. There are some scholarships which are available for all the students like NSP, FFE, Reliance. Loans are not compulsory it upto student's interest the education loan is available in State bank of India which is inside the campus only.

Academics & Faculty : The course curriculum is very good no complain came about it. The faculty were very experienced and friendly with all the students. The faculty were specific and nice . We can interact with any of the professors when we need any help. The faculty were enough knowledgeable and they will teach upto their best and the teaching methods are very easy to catch for every student. The faculty to students ratio in computer science and engineering is 1:10 . The professors will only provide enough material

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure of the campus is not too good because the buildings are old. There are total thirteen hostels available here in which nine are for boys and four hostels are for girls. For first year students the rooms are provided based on the rank they secured in JEE Mains examination for top rankers single seater and double and triple seater will be allotted respectively. Clubs & Associations : The college life is beautiful because the campus size is 625 acres which consists of 20 plus lakes and Asia's largest digital library and there are many grounds like cricket and football ground, volleyball, basketball, badminton court, there is also a gym. Recently NIT Silchar has celebrated it's 58th anniversary This event was very good. There are annual festivals like Technosis and Incandacense. There are many clubs like dance, drama, photography , coding club, AIML club, which are very useful.
