NIT Calicut Latest Updates
National Institute of Technology, Calicut have released the NIT Calicut result for end semester examinations (April 2021 and November 2019). Candidates who appeared for the winter semester/final test for undergraduate programmes such as B.Tech. B.Arch can visit the official website (nitc.ac.in.) of NIT Calicut. The National Institute of Technology, Calicut results are available in PDF format. Therefore students do not need to enter any credentials. A student should have obtained not less than 20 successful credits and a CGPA of 4.0 or above (40%) at the end of the second semester; failing to satisfy this requirement, the student will have to leave the program of NIT Calicut. If any student is not satisfied with their NIT Calicut results, they may appeal to the Dean (through FA & HOD) within ten working days for the revaluation of their answer papers. The student has to make the necessary payment for the revaluation and attach a receipt along with the application.

National Institute of Technology Calicut results are released on the NIT Calicut site in PDF formats considering the multiple courses. Therefore, each student should check the relevant details in the standard format implemented for the National Institute of Technology Calicut results. In case of score mismatch, detail errors, etc., students have to report to the respective Controller of Examinations for further NIT Calicut mark sheet rectification. Suppose the student is not satisfied with their NIT Calicut results. In that case, they may appeal to the Dean (Academic) through PC and HoD, within ten working days on receipt of the communication from the HoD, for the reevaluation of the answer papers. The student has to make the necessary payment for the revaluation and attach the receipt along with the application. The Dean (Academic) may arrange for the revaluation of the answer papers in deserving cases through another faculty (from a panel of minimum 2 examiners proposed by the HoD) within the Institute. Once the revaluation of answer sheets is completed, the faculty shall intimate the result who re-examined the answer sheets to the Dean (Academic) through the HoD.
For all such cases, the results obtained for the reevaluation will replace the earlier results only if the increase is more than 5% of the maximum marks. Requests received from the student within the stipulated time limits only shall be processed.

There is a selection from the campus. Cs branch has the highest number of recruiters and also other non-Cs branches like Ece and EEE are also at par with CS. Many companies like JP Morgan delloite Goldman Sach ABB Electric Microsoft Cisco Oracle Reliance comes for placement. The alumni network is pretty strong and is very helpful in case of a referral for an internship. The NIT, Calicut has an Institute-run TnP department ( Training and Placement) department which conducts a year-long placement drive for students in their final year. Various key companies such as Oracle, Goldman-Sachs, Microsoft have hired a considerable number of students from Computer Science and other circuit branches for high salaries ranging from 25L to 50L in the past. Core branches such as CS, EEE, EC, and Mech usually have a high placement percentage with CS at the top with a placement percentage of over 90%. The average salary of IT companies would be around 7-10L while core companies such as MRF, LnT offer salaries from 5-8L. Non-core companies such as Byjus, Times, etc also hire students for Sales, Marketing, Creative profiles as well. Nit Calicut stands top 1 in placements from all nits this year with an average of 80.8% from all branches.
