NIFT Panchkula is a part of the NIFT family and was started in 2016. Initially, the National Institute of Fashion Technology Panchkula is the country's premier fashion education institute. NIFT was made a statutory institute in 2006, which applies to NIFT Panchkula. NIFT Panchkula offers undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education (CE) fashion and design courses. Academic operations began in 2019, and the CE courses are in partnership with Technical Education Department, Haryana. 

NIFT Panchkula is spread across 10.45 acres and equipped with all the latest facilities to support education. National Institute of Fashion Technology Panchkula combines the practical knowledge of fashion and design industry professionals with formal technical education in the same area.

There are six departments at NIFT Panchkula. These departments offer excellent education in different fields of Fashion and Design. These are.

NIFT Panchkula Admission

NIFT Panchkula offers admission to full-time, regular and short-term courses in Fashion and Design. The courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate levels. These include BDes, BF Tech, MFM, and MDes. Admissions to the ug courses are based on the Creativity Aptitude Test (CAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT). Admissions to the PG courses are based on Creativity Aptitude Test (CAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT) Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

NIFT Panchkula Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for admission to National Institute of Fashion Technology Panchkula, the students must meet the institute's eligibility criteria.

BDes/BF Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Passed the Plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination
• Or  A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
• Or  Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or Foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system. 
• Or General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).

MDes/MFM Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed an Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognised by law in India. 
• Or Passed an undergraduate Diploma of a minimum of three years from NIFT/NID.

NIFT Panchkula cutoff 2022 has been released. The cutoff is released separately for each BDes specialisation and each category. The cutoffs depend on the intake capacity, average performance and exam difficulty level.

NIFT Panchkula has a permanent campus spread across 10.45 acres. A grant of INR 13 crore was sanctioned to construct various facilities at the NIFT Panchkula campus. The institute has the following facilities.
