NIEPMD UG Admission 2024

The NIEPMD admission offers undergraduate courses in various departments. For BPT, BPO and BOT, students must complete a 6-month internship programme after completing the course. Whereas for BASLP, students must complete one year of internship.

• For B.Ed, applicants must complete Bahelor’s degree in the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern from a recognised University. The minimum aggregate mark is 50%.
• NIEPMD admission criteria for BPT and BOT is Class 10+2 qualification in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or) Botany and Zoology as compulsory subjects.
• For BPO, applicants must pass Class 10+2 (HSC or equivalent) with PCBE or PCME as compulsory subjects. 
• For BASLP, applicants must complete HSC with PCB / PCM / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology as compulsory subjects.
• Applicants must appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2024 for BPT, BOT and BPO courses.

NIEPMD Research Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must complete HSC, BA/B.Sc and MA/M.Sc degree in Psychology from a recognised University in the 10+2+3+2 pattern.
• Students must secure a minimum aggregate score of 55%.
• Candidates must pass the entrance examination conducted by a selection committee by the Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology.
• Pass the interview round.
• For NIEPMD admission to M.Phil, applicants must hold an Eligibility Certificate, which the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University issues.

NIEPMD Diploma Admission 2024

NIEPMD admission offers Diploma and PG Diploma programmes in various subjects. Applicants who meet the NIEPMD admission criteria are eligible to apply. The Diploma programme duration is two years, and the PG Diploma course lasts one year. The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) recognises both Diploma and PG Diploma programmes.

NIEPMD Diploma Admission Eligibility Criteria

The NIEPMD eligibility criteria for Diploma programmes are below. 

• NIEPMD admission criteria for Diploma is that applicants must pass Class 10+2 (HSC) in any stream with at least a 50% aggregate score.
• For PG Diploma, applicants must complete the following degrees - MBBS / B.Ed in Special Education / B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Speech & Hearing / BOT / BPT /  BMR / BRS Masters in child development / Child Psychology. The minimum aggregate mark must be 50%.
• For NIEPMD admission to PG Diploma, applicants must also have two years and pass the interview round.

NIEPMD Certificate Course Admission 2024

NIEPMD admission offers caregiver certificate programmes like CCCG (Certificate Course in Care Giving). Applicants who meet the NIEPMD admission criteria for the certificate course are eligible to apply for CCCG programmes of various levels. The CBID programme is a training programme jointly developed by RCI and the University of Melbourne, Australia. The Certificate Course duration varies from three to ten months.

NIEPMD Admission Process 2024

NIEPMD offers various UG, PG, Research, Diploma and Certificate programmes for eligible students. Applicants enrolling must ensure to meet the NIEPMD admission criteria and appear for the entrance examination. For BPT, BOT and BPO programmes, applicants must appear for the CET 2024 (Common Entrance Test).

• The CET 2024 registration fee is INR 1000 for the Unreserved category and INR 800 for the Reserved category.
• The NIEPMD application fee is INR 1000 for the Unreserved category and INR 500 for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/EWS). PWD applicants are exempted from paying the application fee.
• The application fee must be paid at the NIEPMD admission office or via Demand Draft in favour of “National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities”.
• Upon selection in the NIEPMD admission process, applicants must deposit the course fee as per the NIEPMD fee structure. 

NIEPMD Entrance Exam 2024

NIEPMD admission is open to applicants who meet the NIEPMD eligibility criteria prescribed by the Institute. NIEPMD admission departments shortlist applicants based on merit and entrance examination. The following entrance examination is accepted - CET, NEET UG and NET.

• Applicants must appear for CET 2024 for BOT, BPO and BPT courses.
• NEET UG 2024 for BASLP course.
