• MIT organizes various literary & cultural activities around the year.
• Various inter-departmental competitions are organized in a healthy manner to bring out the competitive spirit of students. 
• The students take the lead and conduct Annual Literary and Cultural activities, Freshers' Party and Farewell Party bringing out their best in each.
• Some types of Literary competitions that are conducted are Creative Writing, Debate, Resume writing, Group Discussion, Extempore Speech etc which prepares the students for the future.
• Various types of cultural competitions such as Dramatics, Music, Dance, Flower arrangement, Rangoli, Best out of Waste etc. are organized for the overall development of the students.

Some of the main facilities at MIT Group of Institutes Ujjain are mentioned below.

Library

• MITGI library is the central hub of the institute, well-equipped with the latest books, journals, magazines and CD’s/DVD’s to support and facilitate the teaching, learning and research programmes of the Institute.
• The library provides a great scope for the students to improve their knowledge.
• It displays more than 30,000 books relevant to various fields of study from reputed publications authored by eminent authors.
• It has a fully computerized system with barcode facilities with International Standards.
• It also has subscriptions to a wide range of more than 50 National & International reputed journals and 25 Magazines.

Auditorium

• The Mahakal Group of Institutes has an open-air auditorium with a seating capacity of 2000 at the MIT campus.
• All important functions are held in this auditorium. MIT, MIPS, MIM, MITS and MITM have spacious in-door auditoriums with hi-tech audio-video facilities to accommodate 500 students in each auditorium.
• The well-furnished auditorium is used for hosting guest lectures by experts and conducting National/International level seminars and conferences.
• The students organize a number of cultural extravaganzas in these auditoriums. 

Conference Hall

• A totally equipped, state-of-the-art conference hall with a seating capacity of 200 is part of the ultra-modern infrastructure at Mahakal Group of Institutes.
• The Hall is well equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual and presentation tools to facilitate smooth presentations etc.
• All the colleges of the group have a sufficient number of halls to conduct interviews and group discussions.

• Various outdoor games organized at the institute include volleyball, kho-kho, football, cricket, throw ball, Leg cricket, Kabaddi, Basket Ball etc.
• Indoor games organized at the institute are chess, table tennis, badminton etc.
• The campus has a Sports Nodal Centre which provides facilities for various games.
• All the Engineering, MBA, MCA and Pharmacy colleges of Ujjain, Ratlam, Dewas, Mandsaur, Bhanpura, come under MIT Sports nodal center.

• MIT Campus has a Dispensary with a doctor and medicines for quick treatment. 

• MIT takes care of the transportation facilities of the students and staff.
• More than 55 well-conditioned buses with experienced drivers are been running which cover all the parts of the Ujjain and Dewas city.
• The bus routes are operated after taking into account the need of the students. For college hostel students, one shuttle bus has also been provided from college and back, that too free of cost.
