Library

M.G College of Engineering is having a vast Library with internet facilities.Library consists of
about 10730 books covering all the subjects required for the students for study and reference in accordance with the curriculam.There are books of 4235 titles related to Electronics , Electrical ,Computer Science,Civil Engineering,Information Technology,Mechanical Engineering , Physics ,Chemistry ,Mathematics ,Managment studies ,General Enginering etc apart from National and International Journals.
Reference hall is provided for the use of students and faculty members for their free and calm

reading . It is added that Managment of Social Justice Foundation and M.G College of Engineering has already taken steps to shift the library to newely constructed block for providing large and extensive facilities to library.

Computer Lab

There are three computer labs that are functioning the college for acdemic purpose.One lab is for the first year students,on fo the senior students and on elab is allotted specvially for project work.All the labs are fully networked and have got internet facility.Each lab can accomdate 45 students at a single strech alloting individual systems for students. The sytems used in computer lab consists of high end configuration.The sytems are installed with liscensed softwares which are updated regularly.

Basic Electronics Lab

First year undergraduate students on any of our Electronic Engineering degree programmes will spend some time each week in the Level 1 Electronics Laboratory. This laboratory space contains an array of up to date equipment that students will learn to use. They will develop their practical circuit building skills and put into practice the circuit analysis techniques that they have learnt in lectures. The laboratory is also used by second year undergraduate students to build and test prototype electronic systems before manufacturing their final circuit layouts to complete their Level 2 electronics design projects.

Control Systems Lab

The department has a full fledged control system laboratory with modern equipments like servomotors, synchros, position control system, controllers and compensators. The lab is also equipped with advanced computing tools like MATLAB and ORCAD.The course is designed to inculcate in students a fundamental understanding of the theory and design of modern and classical feedback control system via transfer functions and state variables.

Computer Lab

M.G College of Engineering has got well equiped computer centre which can accomadate upto 60 students at a time.The students and staffs are allowed to use the computer centre during the working hours from 9.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m on all working days and from 10.00 a.m to 3 p.m on saturdays.The lab has been fully networked and provided with high speed dedicated internet of
8 Mbps bandwidth.The students can have access to all the sites related to their acedemics.

During workins hours highly qualified staffs are always present to assist the students if needed.
Special trainig is given to first year students inorder to get familiar with the use of computers,this helps the students who are not having know;edge about computer basics.These sessions are conducted in the computer centre in addition to thier regular acdemic lab sessions.
