Eligibility Criteria:

• For Under-Graduation Courses- The candidates should be having Intermediate/ Class 12^th in the concerned group of subjects as required for this purpose.
• For Post-Graduation Courses- The candidates should be Graduation passed from the concerned discipline for which they wish to enrol in the PG Course.

The Cutoff isn't predetermined. It is set only after all the applications are collected and after the selection tests are conducted.

The cut-offs are set based on the following:

• The number of applications received.
• The average scores of the applicants
• The performance of the candidates in the selection test.
• The difficulty of the selection test. 

• 3 Boy’s hostel (Thangjing , Koubru & Langmeiching), Thangjing can accommodate 165 students, Koubru with 55 rooms can accommodate 92 students, Langmeiching is a three-storied block with accommodation strength of 100 students.
• 2 Girl’s hostel (Urirei, Kombirei) established on July 24, 1982.The new block is given to fresher students while the Old block is reserved for Research scholars & senior students.
• Urirei hostel has an accommodation capacity of 68 students, Kombirei hostel contains 50 rooms and can accommodate 45 students.
• The University Guest House is a 17 room (2 bedded) is present within the campus.
