Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 examinations from any recognized board in India.
• Candidate must have studied Physis, Maths and Chemistry/ Biology/ any technical Subject.
• Candidate must be 17 years of age.
• Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for reserved candidates.
• Candidate must have appeared for JEE Examinations.

Application Process for B.Tech

• Only eligible candidates can apply for admission.
• Candidates can visit the Institute to get the prescribed application form along with the Prospectus by paying the admission fees in cash. 
• Submit the application along with the following enclosures.

Enclosures with the Application

• 2 recent passport size photographs
• Self-attested copy of the HSLC Certificate
• JEE Admit Card  
• Self-attested copies of the Certificates and Marksheet of the last Qualifying Exam.
• Self-attested copies of the Supporting documents for ST/SC/OBC/PwD.
• Study Gap eCrtificate (if applicable) from Competent Authority.
• JEE Score Card

Admission Process for B.Tech

• Candidates will be called for counseling on the basis of the Merit List prepared strictly based on the mark/rank of JEE.
• Being called for counseling does not guarantee admission. 
• Candidates will have to appear for counseling at MIT, Takyelpat, Imphal.
• Selection will be made subject to availability of seats, category-wise in different branches. 
• The candidates should come prepared with their preference for admission to different branches of engineering
• The list of recommended candidates for admission after counseling will be displayed on the Institute’s Notice Board and website.

Original Certificates that must be Brought during Counseling

• Mark Sheet of Qualifying Examination
• HSLC Certificate/Admit Card as Proof of Age
• Character Certificate from Head of Institution last attended
• In case of SC/ST, PwD and OBC candidates, the original Cast/Tribe, PwD and OBC Certificates issued by Competent Authority
• Study gap Certificate from the Competent Authority
• JEE Score Card. 
• Medical Fitness Certificate
