Manipal University, Jaipur offers numerous opportunities to its students when it comes to scholarships and education loans. The scholarships are offered on the basis of the marks obtained in the concerned qualifying exam as well the type of program the student is studying in. More details regarding scholarships are mentioned below.

Manipal University Undergraduate Scholarships:

TMA Pai Engineering Scholarships:

  • This Scholarship at Manipal University will be provided only for students with top 5000 ranks in MET
  • Students have to maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above, every year or the scholarships for the following year will be withdrawn.

Lateral Entry Scholarships for B.Tech Students:

  • This scholarship is offered to one student from each of the engineering stream amounting to 25% of the tuition fee
  • The students will have to attain atleast 90% in aggregate or a CGPA of 9.0 in every academic year in order to continue this scholarship

Rajasthan Merit Scholarships:

  • This scholarship is offered to one student of the non-engineering stream and one from engineering stream who belong from the state of Rajasthan
  • They should have acquired atleast 80% aggregate in the qualifying exam or 10+2 from a school of Rajasthan
  • The maximum fee waiver offered under this scholarship will not exceed the actual tuition fee of the program a student is studying or INR 1 Lakh whichever be the lowest
  • The students availing this scholarship will have to maintain a CGPA of atleast 7.5 in order to continue receiving the scholarship

TMA Pai Merit Scholarships:

  • Students should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.
  • The scholarships are offered to one student belonging to the engineering stream and one from a non-engineering stream.

Local Region Students Scholarships:

  • This scholarship is offered to the students belonging to the nearby villages of Sanjharia, Dehmi Khurd, Dehmi Kalan, Bagru and Thikaria in order to promote education amongst them
  • The scholarship is offered on the basis of first come first serve basis for upto 2 seats with a tuition fee waiver of 50% for all the Undergraduate courses except for engineering
  • Financial support of INR 500/- per month will be offered to 2 students who have acquired at least 75% aggregate in the qualifying exam and will continue if they don't have any backlogs

 Sibling(s) Scholarships:

  • Siblings that are studying at the same time at MUJ are eligible for this scholarship.
  • The family's annual income should be less than Rs. 5 LPA.
  • A 20% fee waiver will be offered on the annual tuition fee for each sibling enrolled.
  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should at least have a CGPA of 7.5.

Differently-abled Students Scholarships:

  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should at least have a CGPA of 7.5.
  • The family's annual income should be less than Rs. 5 LPA.

Wards of Martyrs of Defence Personnel/ Para Military Forces Scholarships:

  • The wards of martyrs of defence and paramilitary personnel are eligible for a 20% fee-waiver.
  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should at least have a CGPA of 7.5.

Scholarships for Orphan Child:

  • Orphan students are eligible to receive a 20% fee waiver.
  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should at least have a CGPA of 7.5.
  • The students should have a certificate issued by the state or the national authority according to the norms of Women Development and Child Welfare Department

Manipal University Scholarship for Postgraduate Students:

Scholarships & Seat Reservation for Local Region Students:

Two seats will be reserved on the basis of merit with 50% annual programme fee-waiver for students of the nearby regions of Dehmi Kalan, Thikaria, and Sanjharia. The annual income of parents should be less than 7.5 LPA. To continue to get the scholarship, the student should at least have a CGPA of 7.0. The student has to submit domicile issued by the competent government authority to avail this scholarship.

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks in all exams [10th, 12th, and Graduation].
  • The scholarship is offered on the basis of first come first serve basis.

Merit Scholarships:

For MTech students with the highest GATE scores.

  • Manipal University will be offering an amount of INR 15,000/- per month for the GATE qualified students
  • To continue to get this scholarship, the students will have to continue to acquire at least a 7.5 CPGA in all semesters

For M.Sc, LLM, MA [J&MC], M.Com [Financial Analysis] students with the highest scores in qualifying exams.

  • Under this scholarship, the students will be offered INR 15,000 for the first year and INR 25,000 in the second year and third year of their program

Scholarships for Sportsperson:

  • 30% tuition fee waiver in educational cost expense will be permitted, if the hopeful is either State Champion or has taken an interest in perceiving National/ All India Inter-University [AIU] level games rivalries.
  • 60% expense waiver in educational cost charge will be permitted if the competitor has won Silver/ Bronze Medal at perceived National/ All India Inter-University [AIU] level games rivalries.
  • 80% expense waiver in educational cost charge will be permitted if the applicant has won Gold Medal at National/ All India Inter-University [AIU] level games rivalries.
  • 100% expense waiver of the educational cost charge will be permitted if the competitor represented the nation at perceived International level games rivalries.
  • Applications for charge waiver under games portion will be prepared by the Committee constituted for this reason.
  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should at least have a CGPA of 5.0 or above.
  • The student will be required to participate in University level sports activities.

Higher Semester Scholarships:

  • One scholarship is available for the topper in Engineering/ Non-Engineering streams. 
  • It is applicable for one year, for the topper of that academic year for all the streams.
  • The topper will be eligible for a 20% fee-waiver on annual tuition fee.

Educational Loans at Manipal University, [MUJ] Jaipur:

With the objective of encouraging meritorious students and academic excellence, the following categories of scholarships are offered to deserving students from first year onwards from Manipal University Jaipur, please check below

1.TMA Pai Engineering Scholarships

Two scholarships in each engineering stream, restricted to students with top 5000 ranks in the MU Engineering Entrance Examination, will be given on merit-cum-means basis as follows:

Students applying for these scholarships are required to submit copies of their parents’ (both mother and father) Form 16/16A/ITR of the last two years. These requisite documents are to be submitted every year.

To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above every academic year, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.

2.Scholarships for Lateral Entry (Diploma) / Transfer Cases

Scholarships will be offered to meritorious students who take admission under Lateral Entry (Diploma) / Transfer category as per the criteria given below:

  • One scholarship in each engineering stream and one in each non-engineering  programme, amounting to 25% of the annual programme fees, to be granted on the basis of merit, provided the student has aggregate marks in excess of 60%  /CGPA 6.0 or above, without any backlogs.
  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 6.0 or above, failing which, the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.

3.TMA Pai Merit Scholarships

  • One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, with 100% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given  to the student with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 90%, in the qualifying exam.
  • One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, with 50% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to the student with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 80%, in the qualifying exam.
  • One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, with 25% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to students with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 75%, in the qualifying exam.
  • To continue to get the scholarships, the students should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn. 

4.Rajasthan Merit Scholarships

One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme,  will be given to students from Rajasthan domicile, with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 80% in 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam. To be eligible, the student should have passed his/her 10th and 10+2 exam from a school in Rajasthan.

  • The maximum scholarship given to each student will not exceed the annual fees of the programme joined, or Rs. 1 Lakh, whichever is lower.
  • To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.
