Fees & Scholarships : The fee structure is Rs.14,400 yearly and additional exam fee which is as prescribed by Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, [MIMS] Mandya. MHRD scholarship based on merit in 12th grade and merits in subsequent years of the bachelor's degree. Other scholarship option based on the category can be availed. Out of 100 students admitted per year for MBBS, more than 50 students gets scholarships. As our fee is nominal, no loan is needed for an average middle-class student. But loans can easily be availed from any nationalised banks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria were to pass 12th-grade with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The seat was allotted by Karnataka education authority(KEA) based on ranking in K-CET. I took Karnataka-common entrance test(K-CET) for getting into MBBS. The typical cutoff for our college is around 500 K-CET rank(for general merit) and varies for different categories.

Placements & Internships : The stipend during internship would be Rs 20,000. We have a good alumni network.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are from 8am to 4pm with a break between 1pm to 2pm. Highly qualified and experienced faculty for teaching. The overall experience is very good as we have a very congenial atmosphere for learning.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is separate hostel for boys and girls, the hostels are good and the fee is Rs.15,000. We have an average infrastructure with 4 big lecture halls with board and projector facilities, labs are good and well equipped, we also have a good central library with the latest edition of medical books and journals and periodicals and also a big playground for sports.

Clubs & Associations : We have a student council, scientific committee, literary committee and cultural committee. We have an inter college fest, sports day, college day and convocation day The college life is boring in Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, [MIMS] Mandya.
