Facilities at MIT :

Central Library

The University has a well stocked Central Library which has 28369 volumes with 7646 titles of Textbooks, Reference books, Technical Journals, Periodicals, and Competition books on various subjects for the students & faculty. The Library is fully automated & computerized. The Library is linked with National & International networks through internet and in the institute through LAN. All the departments also maintain their Departmental Libraries, which are linked to Central Library.

Central library is the soul of the academics at MEU University. It is designed to meet the information needs of the users with an aim of providing “Anytime, Anywhere Access” to information, the Central Library supports university in building an excellence in academics and research by establishing a knowledge hub.

Along with conventional books used in Science, Engineering and Technology, the central library has reading section for general reading and a Reference Section for refer different type reference reading material like, reference books, containing Journals & periodicals, CD’S & current affairs magazines. There is subscription to 121 print journals & 276 E-journals through Science Direct (elsviour)  & Delnet and 32 Magazines.

Hostel

The  MEU offers separate in campus hostels for boys and girls.Institute has a separate Girls’ hostel in the campus with 56 rooms and houses 168 girl students. It also has a Boys’ hostel with a capacity of 88 rooms which can adjust 264 students.The hostels spread in an area of 3549(Boys)& 3095(Girls) sq meter, with well furnished rooms,hygienic mess,dining hall and common room facilities.The hostels are specially designed with two primary objectives of safety and comfort.

It has round-the- clock security,with stringent security procedures and comfortable apartments.The hostels have state-of-the-art wash rooms (toilet and bathing cells) . Cleanliness is maintained by the staff on duty.Each hostel room provides an amiable atmosphere and pollution-free environment,conducive to the mental,physical and spiritual development of the students.

Dining 

The institute ensures that every meal is healthy and hygienic. All meals are prepared in a mechanized kitchen. A great care is taken to create a home like atmosphere by providing nutritious meals cooked in utmost hygienic way in the modern cooking ware. The mess staff takes special care to plan out a weekly menu that satisfies the vegetarian taste. There are separate mess for boys and girls. The mess has a capacity to accommodate three hundred students at a time. It primarily caters to the hostellers’ but the day scholars and staff can also have their meals at nominal price. RO-filtered drinking water doubly ensures good health. The mess staff is trained to handle food in a hygienic manner. The senior staff members of the Institute conduct surprise visits to the Mess for random tasting of food.

Canteen

The University has set up an open air canteen which provides the delicious muffins, sandwiches, different flavors of coffee, soft drinks and the piping hot snacks. No-effort is spared to offer the best of the food. The Institute has canteen spread in an area of 258.19 sq meters.

Transport

The buses ply on different routes of the city to pick and drop the students from various areas. The students are spared the difficulty of commuting to the Institute by public transport. This also contributes to inculcating an element of punctuality among the students. There are separate buses plying for the staff.

Bank Facility

MIT  has tied up with the SMRITI NAGRIK SAHAKARI  BANK MANDSAUR  to provide extended facility of banking services to staff and students and also to the outside customers. Thus, an extension counter has been opened in the campus. To facilitate the after working hour requirement of cash .
