Infrastructure :- 

The College has kept pace with the growth of the Institution for effective and smooth conduct of teaching - learning and research. The Institution is located on a campus of 5.10 acres with lush green lawns, flowering plants and gardens providing right ambiance and pollution free environment. Adjacent to the Dental College, there is a well equipped General and super specialty teaching hospital in the campus . The Dental College and Hospital is established utilizing a floor space of 1,25,000 sqft with 250 well equipped dental chairs to fulfill the needs of the Undergraduates as well as Postgraduates in every branch of dentistry. There are specially designed laboratories and museums. Advanced diagnostic equipment such as Orthpantomographs, Cephalostats, RVG and maxillofacial and dental radiography have been included. The institution has a well maintained air conditioned central library with digital facilities, Reading rooms, central computer centre, auditoriums, hostels, staff quarters, sports and games facilities-all within the campus. Our institution has been permitted by the Dental Council of India and Govt. of India to start postgraduate program with 3 admissions each in the specialities of Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Conservative dentistry and Endodontics, Oral and maxillofacial Surgery while the Post graduate in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry started in the academic year 2008-09. All the postgraduate departments are well equipped with the latest state of the art materials and equipments. They are headed by experienced professors in postgraduate education, assisted by well experienced professors, readers and lecturers. We have an experienced team of committed and motivated staff to impart quality education in terms of academics, research and comprehensive development.

Library

Our Central Library is one of the finest libraries, functioning in two floors with a huge floor area of 29,428 sqft and is air-conditioned with serene ambience and state of the art infrastructure which provides comfortable learning environment with resource material of the highest quality, to teach& learn skills needed for academic inquiry and lifelong learning to support faculty and postgraduate research, which is continuously being updated with new volumes of books and journals.

Library is enriched with a vast knowledge bank of 5488 dental text and reference books. Digital library with 48 computers is provided with 259 CD- ROMS of medical subjects.

The expanding clinical knowledge and the complexities of health care is a challenge for health care providers. Research, clinical knowledge & skills updating is essential in Health sciences education. To commensurate with current health care and research for our Faculty and students we have subscription to a total of 119 dental journals of which 85 are Indian 34 are foreign journals. We have a total of issues of 3271 back volume journals.

We have subscription to NTRUHS Mednet consortium and digital library through which we have access to 223 dental journals.

We have a Sc & ST Dental book bank 330 books, which will be issued to the students on loan basis for entire academic year.

Lecture Halls

There are air conditioned lecture theatres with a seating capacity is 120 in each lecture theatre. They provide facilities to observe live surgical procedures there by offering an opportunity to see the experts at work. Apart from the lecture theaters all the departments have seminar rooms / Demonstration rooms with a capacity of 20 and are equipped with audio-visual aids.

Auditorium

A very aesthetically designed centrally air conditioned Auditorium with excellent audio & visual facilities with a seating capacity of 450 hosts conferences, CMES and guest lectures.

Labs and Museums

A sure sign of any organization’s growth is the amount of time and efforts it dedicates in keeping a track of the past activities and future plans. Labs and Museum are treasures of riches that need to be safe guarded for the future reference.

The specimens in the museums provide immensely useful information for the students as do the labs where the students conduct experiments. The College lays enough stress on upgrading the specimen collection in the museums and Laboratories regularly.

Hostels

A majority of the students come from other cities and towns. Therefore, providing residential facilities becomes a prime task. Air-conditioned and non A/C hostels for boys and girls separately with attached toilets facilities. UG & PG Students of the Dental College have been accommodated separately. The living conditions are comfortable and meet the requirements of the students. Food is Hygienic and nutritious. At all times safety and security of the inmates residing in the hostels is ensured and assured. T.V. rooms with plasma T.V. and indoor gym facilities are provided.

Sports and Games

Facilities for outdoor and indoor games as well as a health club are provided so that physical fitness of the future doctors is taken care of. Our students have been regularly participating and winning in various inter college sports competitions and university level competitions. This not only provides exercise for physical fitness but also is a source of mental relaxation.

Facilities for outdoor games like Basket ball, volley ball, Tennis, Badminton, and cricket are available Indoor games like table tennis, Carroms and chess are available. A latest air conditioned GYM with modern equipments is at place separately for boys and girls to keep them fit. Trainers take special care in making the students trained and involved in the above activities. Every year in December a combined sports day is conducted before annual day and prizes are given to the winners and runners among the students and staff, from those who participate in the month long sports competitions in the Mamata group of institutions. 

Transportation

Transportation facilities are provided to the students for Commuting between College and Hospital as well as field work and Health camps. There are 3 Airconditioned Tata Marcopolo Buses, one Van, one Tata Winger and 2 Tata Sumos exclusively earmarked for this purpose. A mobile Dental clinic is available for dental camps. A Free Excursion is arranged for the students every year in our airconditioned buses. one Tata Safari, one Mahindra Scorpio, one Tata sumo and one Maruthi swift are available for administrative purposes. Free transportation in provided to all the patients of surrounding villages. there are 7 buses and one van for transportation of patients to and fro from villages to Hospital every day.

Gymnasium and Fitness Centre

A well-equipped central air conditioned gymnasium has been opened recently in the Mamata Dental College and Hospital campus. It is open for all students with separate timings for boys and girls. It has the facilities for cardiovascular and resistance training. For the Cardiovascular training the following equipment is available:

• Treadmill
• Static Cycle
• Cross Trainer

Resistance training facilities of machines and free weights are available.
The trainees can also do the mat exercises for keeping the body supple and for Core stability with Gym balls.

Food Court 

Mamata Dental College has a centrally air conditioned food court with pleasant ambiance which is situated within the campus which serves hygienic food, both north and south Indian dishes are served at reasonable prices. 

The Doctors Food Court can conveniently accommodate 200 students at a time, functioning in the campus. The Food Court is provided with modern furniture, electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. The FoodCourt remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons . 

When the grinds of the studies reach its height students seek refreshment in the dazzling Food Court , offering a wide range of fast food varieties (both vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian) at nominal prices.

Banking Facilities within Campus 

A branch of Andhra Bank is situated within the campus to cater the need of students and staff members for maintaining saving account with minimum balance. This bank offers all facilities available from any premiere standard bank of India to its customers. This fully computerized bank offers world-class services and gives the students, and people in campus an ease to handle their money . 24 hour ATM facility is also provided by the Andhra Bank within the campus. 

Post Office 

The campus operates a branch of Indian Postal Service office in the Mamata General Hospital Campus. It operates during normal office hours.
