Maharishi University of Information Technology Lucknow was established in the year 2001 under the MUIT Uttar Pradesh Act no.13. The university is equipped with all the modern pieces of equipment which help in the better interface between the teachers and students. The university aims to create excellence in the field of education and provide top-class education to every student.

The Maharishi University of Information Technology also has a panel of trained faculty members who guide students and help them achieve their goals. Courses like Diploma in Engineering, B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, M.Sc, D.Pharm, B.Pharm, MA, Ph.D., etc are offered at MUIT Lucknow. For admission to the M.Tech program, GATE scores are accepted by the institute. The GATE 2024 exam will be conducted between February 03, 2024 and February 11, 2024.

The campus has well-designed roads, lawns, and botanical gardens and is far from the flurry of city life. MUIT Lucknow facilitates training and education process which helps students grow intellectually and emotionally. Merit Scholarships

The Maharishi University of Information Technology scholarship offers merit scholarships to students based on academic performance in qualifying exams prescribed by the University. Only one scholarship scheme is applicable to a student.

• 100% tuition waiver for University toppers.
• 50% tuition waiver for securing the 5000th rank in IIT/JEE.
• 50% tuition waiver for 500th rank in UP SEE.
• 25% tuition waiver for 90% aggregate in PCM in 12th board.
• 25% tuition waiver for 80% aggregate in graduation.
• 25% tuition waiver for securing the 5000th rank in AIEEE examination or candidates scoring at least 60 percent in CAT or above 600 marks in MAT.
• 50% tuition waiver for gold/ silver medal in national/ state level sports competitions or any performing arts.

MUIT Admission

MUIT Eligibility Criteria

The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields and all the programs have a different set of eligibility criteria. The criteria for the courses are mentioned below in detail

MUIT B.Tech Eligibility

The University offers B.Tech in various specializations and the duration of the course is 4 years that consists of 8 semesters. In this period the candidate will be exposed to all the aspects in the field of engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed 10+2 [PCM] with 50% aggregate. 

MUIT M.Tech Eligibility

The University offers M.Tech in various specializations and the duration of the course is 2 years that consists of 4 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have a valid gate score and a BE/ B.Tech degree.

MUIT BCA Eligibility

The University offers BCA in various specializations and the duration of the course is 3 years that consists of 6 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed 10+2 with Maths. 

MUIT MBA Eligibility

The duration of the MBA course is two years and during this period candidates will be trained in business management and administration fields, which will help them in understanding the concepts related to MBA.

• The candidates should have completed a Bachelor degree with 50% aggregate.

MUIT B.Sc Eligibility

The University offers B.Sc in specializations like Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, etc. The duration of the course is 3 years that consists of 6 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have completed 10+2 with mathematics, with an aggregate of 50%.

MUIT M.Sc Eligibility

The University offers M.Sc in specializations like Environmental Science, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, etc. The duration of the course is 2 years that consists of 4 semesters.
