Financial Assistance for Ph.D.
LM Thapar School of Management Fellowships are available to full-time Ph.D. students on recommendations of the admission committee and approval of the Director, LMTSM. The fellowship awardees shall be designated as Lecturer 1 and shall be required to devote 20-30 hours per week towards teaching and evaluation assistance.
Monthly fellowship of Rs. 30,000* for 3 years which can be extended up to one more year upon the approval of the Director, LMTSM.
- The candidate must be in the top four positions in the final Merit list of selection for admission to the Ph.D. program.
- These scholars will secure at least an 8.00 CGPA throughout in the Ph.D. coursework.
- These scholars have successfully defended their research proposal within the prescribed period as per the Ph.D. program regulations.
*Candidates without UGC-NET/valid scores in CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 20,000.
