KIIT Commemorates IEEE Day 2025 with Innovation and Global Perspective - The IEEE KIIT Student Branch observed IEEE Day 2025, celebrating the 1884 gathering of engineers worldwide to exchange technical ideas. In collaboration with the IEEE Bhubaneswar Subsection, the event featured notable figures, faculty, and student volunteers, reinforcing IEEE's mission of 'Advancing Technology for the Benefit of Humanity.' The opening session welcomed esteemed guests, with speakers highlighting Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS, as a transformative leader. Chief Guest Swami Prem Anveshi engaged the audience with insights from his journey to spiritual fulfillment. Notable attendees included Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT-DU, and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar. The event also honored IEEE faculty counselors and student volunteers for their exemplary leadership and organizational efforts.

KIIT School of Fashion Technology was established in the year 2009. The college is affiliated with KIIT (Deemed to be University). It is a Centre of excellence with creative exposures, well researched teaching methodology, conceptualization skills and technical expertise, qualitative education, Industry Linkages, intellectually stimulating cosmopolitan environment. The college offers four years Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Textile Design in which 1 year is the Foundation Program followed by 3 years of Specialization. Selection of the candidates in the college is on the basis of the KIIT Entrance Examination.
