KC Das Commerce College, [KCDC] Guwahati was established in November 1983. The College is a well-known centre of commerce education in the North-East and is located at the heart of Guwahati city in the state of Assam. The College was assessed to NAAC and was accredited B+ grade. The College emblem holds a significant meaning. The Lamp at the Centre of the emblem is the symbol of the Light of the Knowledge.

KCDC College Admission can be done online in UG and PG courses in the field of arts and commerce. The College also offers Distance and Open learning courses. It was established in the year 1998. It provides an opportunity to pursue quality higher education to the learners who could not pursue higher education through a conventional mode of education.

The college aims to give the opportunity to anyone who is willing to learn. It helps to create and shape individuals who have a socially responsive outlook and accept new ideas according to the changing times which will ensure all-round development of the nation. Basanta Kr. Das and Basanti Devi Award: The Scholarship is given to the most meritorious students from the financially weak background. Single Parent will be added criteria for the selection process. A cash award of Rs. 10,000 funded by Basanta Kumar Das & Basanti Devi Charitable Trust is given scholarship to

KCDC College Internal Quality Assurance Cell:

The internal quality assurance cell or IQAC of the college was established on 16th June 2003. The primary aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for consistent, conscious and catalytic action which helps to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution. The Key Functions of the IQAC are:

• Spreading the information on the various quality parameters of higher education.

KC Das commerce college provides various infrastructure facilities for its efficient functioning. The Commerce College has a wonderful commerce lab which is inaugurated in 2018.  Keeping the industrial growth, it has become a necessity for commerce students to gain practical exposure to process and practices followed in the business world along with theoretical insights. The main features of the commerce lab are:
