There are many societies and clubs in the college but they are not active at all. There are fests and celebration in the college every third day, or every day. Life in college is OK, not as good as we dreamed or expected.
I'm a day scholar but heard a lot from hostelers that hostel and mess fee is not according to facilities. Food is not good, they are not allowed to use air conditioners in the day time, there are many PGs outside the college, but are not preferred as much. Talking about college's infrastructure it is also average we can definitely see the oldness of college by the classrooms, sometimes there is electricity problems too, the auditorium of the college is small in comparison to the strength of the college. There is nothing like wi-fi...!
Study is the first and foremost priority of the college and should be. We have our college all the 6 days of the week. Every subject is given equal importance, moreover, there are no. of value-added programs like moral education, personality development, foundation, many more which are included in the courses by our ma'am principal. Faculty of the college is big in no., but one drawback I feel is there are few departments which have only one teacher and that's not fair with the teacher. Teaching methods are significant because every concept is made clear to the students. Off course assignments, projects, ppt, MST, class tests are organized at regular periods of time. All and all study is very, very, very good ...!
This is something which places my college over other colleges, my fee is 45,000 per year. That's kinda nominal. Yes, there are no. Of scholarships available on the basis of merit, financial status, social background, sports, every player is studying at free of cost. Approximately 500, are getting a scholarship.
I'm still in the second year, of my graduation and I haven't done anything like an internship. But there are no. Of announcements of internship programs for final year students, recently a student was appointed for internship in amazon, one got a chance in Marks and Spencer, many were selected as supervisors in different wholesale and retail firms, and many more. The salary package started from 15,000 to 30 000 depending on the jobs and services. Basically there is an organisation which comes every year at the campus and has links with no.of companies and selects students for an internship after interviewing them. There are no. Of alumni' who come to the college for inspiring new buds.
There was no particular entrance exam for admissions. I was asked for my 12th standard results i.e. my passing percentage. Nothing like cutoffs was there. Easy admission process.
