Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB

The Eligibility criteria for Pursuing BA LLB in JBCL is as follows:

• The completion of 12th grade from any place recognised by CBSE
• Any graduate who has done 12th grade with 50% marks minimum aggregate from any Pre-University or institution recognized by the Guwhati University.

Eligibility Criteria for LLB

The Eligibility criteria for pursuing LLB in JBCL is as follows:

• The completion of 12th grade from any place recognised by CBSE and scoring a minimumof 50% in any stream.
• Any graduate who has scored aminimum of 50% marks in aggregate from the Guwhati University or any other University or institution recognized by the Guwhati University in any stream relevent to law, preferably BA,BBA or B.Com.

Eligibility Criteria for LLM

The Eligibility criteria for pursuing LLM in JBCL is as follows:

• Any graduate in law with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from the Gauhati University or any other University or institution recognized by the Gauhati University shall be eligible to apply for admission into the First Semester of the LL.M. Course.
• The Graduate must have done any form of Hons. Stream during any point of his Education.

Note: The candidates for any of the streams will be able to get admission in the college easily if they have good CLAT scores

Application Process for BA LLB, LLB, LLM

The Candidates who wish to appear for any of these Courses can diretly go to the Official website of JBCL and take a printout of the application form. The candidates will have to fill it out and submit the Form to the Admin department of JBCL. The application process is mentioned clearly on the website.

Admission Process for BA LLB, LLB, LLM

JBCL has a definite system to select Candidates into their college. The Faculty will first check the Resume of the candidate.If they are impressed, they will invite the candidate to their college. Then the Candidate will be put into a series of Tests as in the following way:

• Admission Test
• Personal Interview

If the candidates manage to pass these tests, they will be entitled to pay the Admission fees and enroll themselves to the college.
