The admission process at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) 2021 consists of eligibility criteria and selection process. 

For the eligibility criteria, the admission committee filters out the candidates based on the eligibility criteria such as the minimum qualifying degree and the cutoff score attained in the qualifying entrance examination depending on the course.

DTE CAP Application Fee

  • No Fee Candidates: The Candidates who have registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2021 are not required to pay any fees for registration
  • Fee-Paying Candidates: Other candidates who have obtained a score which is valid for admission in the academic year 2021-20 in CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA and have not registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2021 are required to pay CAP Registration fees
  • Mode of CAP Fee Payment: CAP 2021 registration fee must be paid only by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking through Online mode
  • Fee Not Refundable: DTE CAP Fees once paid is non-refundable

Stages of DTE CAP 2021 Registration Process

  • Step1: Candidate Registration will start on June 30, 2021
  • Step2: Online Application Form must be filled by Candidate for participation in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2021
  • Step3: Confirmation of Online Application Form and Document Verification and counselling along with brief GD, PI at Facilitation Centre (FC) by the Candidate in person
  • Step4: Provisional merit lists, submission of grievances, if any, and final merit lists must be submitted
  • Step5: Display of available category wise seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Rounds I, II and III
  • Step6: Filling up and confirmation of online option form having preferences of courses and institutions before CAP round I. Once the option form is confirmed shall be considered for allotment in CAP round I, II, and III
  • Step7: The provisional allotment of CAP round I, II, and III indicating allotted institute and course must be displayed. This allotment of seats is based on the marks scored in MAH CET; CAT; XAT; GMAT, MAT; CMAT; ATMA exams, academics & other parameters leading to merit score in CAP round
  • Step8: The seat must be reported or accepted as per the allotment of the CAP round I, II, and III by the candidate at admission reporting centre (ARC) 
  • Step9: DTE has set up 243 FCs in different MBA colleges of Maharashtra to appear for DTE CAP 2021 for admission to MBA/MMS 2021
  • Step10:  The seat must be surrendered to participate in the next CAP round to get a better MBA college

    - You need to take up CAT/CMAT and MH-CET for JBIMS and should have a minimum of 99.98 percentile in CAT/CMAT or MH-CET. Must have a good profile. You should have 75%tile in all section.

Jamnalal College offers a 2 year full time course in Masters of Management Studies.

Eligibility

  • Candidate must have passed 10th with atleast 65% aggregate marks and 12th with atleast 60% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only
  • Final year students can also apply on provisional basis

Admission Process

  • Admissions are on the basis of MH-CET/CAT followed by group discussion, personal interview, written ability test
  • For all NRI, Foreign national and PIO applicants, GMAT is a mandatory exam
  • For foreign nationals, residing outside India, interviews will be conducted over Skype
  • A candidate will be admitted based on the combined scores of this personal assessment along with their past academic and extra-curricular achievement
  • Other criterion are group activity score, written ability test score followed by marks at HSC and SSC or equivalent
