Student bodies are good but under a constant threat from the institute. Rotary club is one of the best socio-cultural clubs on the campus.
Here you have to take a PG. There are plenty of PGS to choose from. The average cost of lunch in college is INR 75. And leaving in PG will cost north of a lakh.

To get into ITNU(Institute of Technology Nirma University) you need to give and pass the well known JEE Main. A decent score with a good board result confirms your entry into the college. Great institute with some great faculties. Getting in through all India quota is quite difficult (35%), while through acpc can prove easier (50%), gulf quota also proves good but costlier
There is no specific enterance exam for Nirma University,but you can apply on the basis of JEE and if you are studying in the Gujarat then you can apply on the basis of ACPC also.
SThe cricket ground is available here for students. Some of the indoor games facilities are also available i.e. table tennis, etc Raas Garba, etc is the main festival on campus.
The facilities are also excellent. The libraries are also excellent most of the books are available there. And full ac libraries. The hostel facilities are not available for BTech students. But many pg/hostels are available near outside the college The fees of the hostel is nearly is 80k to 100k.

Its placement is also good. The average package of the electrical branch is also excellent. So this year highest package is nearly 22 lac's in computer branch.
In my point of view. It is excellent university for the of studing, placement, and gain knowledge ,etc.
There are associations for every department and in addition to that, a few other clubs are also there. NU tech is the major fest of the college where all the associations propose different workshops and events. In general, life at the college is very nice ..quite an experience.
There are many hostels near the campus. Fees for which may vary from INR 45k to INR 100k per anum as per the hostel, number of members in the room. Many PG is also available near the college. They could cost around 8k per month. There are 4 canteens/ food courts on the campus. Quality of food is quite nice in the NIM canteen. Talking about the infrastructure and facilities available, they are the best one can have. WiFi access, Dellnet facility of the library are the best of all.
There are two slots: 9 am to 4 pm and 11 am to 6 pm. Which includes lectures, labs, lunch break and library time. Teaching is quite nice. There are tutorials and assignments for subjects where the practice is needed so as to ensure better learning.
Course fees keep on increasing every year. When I joined, it was around INR120000 per annum and now it has reached INR 140000. Scholarships are available for CM scholarship. If the loan is required, then its quite easily availed.
Internships/vocational training are purely based on the contacts of the individual. If you don't have contacts to get into a company, then the university will offer a list of companies to work with and there is no stipend. Computer and IT are the luckiest streams with highest placement ratio and even the highest package. One of the prime reasons behind this is that more IT, computer companies visit the campus compared to other branches.
There are mainly three ways to get into the college. Namely: 1) All India quota (35%) JEE is considered for the selection process; its mostly for CBSE students. 2) ACPC (50%) - Gujarat board selection process based on marks in the board exam and JEE. 3) Gulf + NRI quota (5+10%)

No internships yet but I got a scholarship from Gujarat government, Nirma also provides a scholarship to eligible students. Major companies that come for placements are L&T, Maruti, Infosys, TCS, Akash Education Pvt Ltd, Mu Sigma etc. The average salary is nearly INR 4lac and 60-70% people get placed
Eligibility criteria for Nirma university are that the student must have passed 10th and 12th board examination by any board(GSEB, CBSE etc). There are a lot of student clubs. From cultural clubs to sports clubs, Nirma University has all kinds of clubs. The main festivals are HORIZON and NU-Tech. (cultural and technical fests). The college life is great.
There are no hostels for a Bachelor of Technology students. There are a lot of PGs and hostels available nearby, the average cost is around 6,000/month. The food is really nice and at a very nominal rate. The avg cost per meal is 40 rupees. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and speakers.

Highest salary is 10-12 lakhs/year. Almost 100 % get placed. The alumni network is called the NITA. They meet once/twice every year and are very well collected.

For admission to my college, you have to perform good score in your 12th and in JEE main exam. You will also apply for JEE score. For Computer engineering course you have to score in JEE exam minimum 180 and also it's up to you. Cutoffs of my college are very high.

The candidate must clear the JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. For CE/Mech, the cutoff rank must be below 1000, for ECE/EEE, below 2000 and for Civil/Chemical, below 3000.

When it comes to placements, I think there are very few colleges in Gujarat which is doing better than Nirma. Companies like L&T, Reliance, Adani, TCS, Futures First, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro are recruiting students from Nirma every year. Highest salary offered was around INR 20 LPA and average packages are around INR 4 LPA.
