IPGMER Placement Details

IPGMER placement drives have the reputation of placing most students in reputed hospitals and organisations. For example, 120 UG and 143 PG students were placed in 2020- 21. The institute is yet to release placement data like IPGMER highest package, the number of companies visited, etc. However, the median package offered in 2021 for UG and PG students was INR 5.40 LPA and INR 6.0 LPA, respectively. Along with the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research placement, students can also opt for higher studies.

IPGMER Placement Highlights 2021

According to the NIRF report, a total of 263 IPGMER students were placed in 2020- 21. The institute might release the IPGMER average package soon. However, the median package offered for UG and PG students is given below. In addition, 33 UG and PG students have opted for higher studies. The IPGMER placement highlights for 2020- 2021 are tabulated below.

The number of students placed in 2021 increased from 212 (2020) to 263. Even though the median package offered to UG students saw a minute fall, the median package offered to PG students stayed the same. Statistics of IPGMER placements in 2022 are available for the PG programs only. The IPGMER placement statistics from 2020 to 2022 are given in the table below.
