IICMR has a placement cell whose main objective is to train students for recruitment and place them in reputed companies. The IICMR placement cell organises various training programs in aptitude, soft skills, and personality development domains. The Training and Placement cell of IICMR also organises mock aptitude tests, interviews, and group discussions to prepare students. The Institute of Industrial and Computer Management and Research placement cell conducts various workshops, seminars, and guest lectures by experts from the industry.

The placement cell organises industrial visits to companies like Mercedes Benz, Sandvik, Mapro Gardens, SD-Tronics, etc. The IICMR placement cell plays an important role in the institute signing MOUs with leading industry companies for students' better futures.
