Infrastructure:

IET is located on a University owned land of approximately 43 Acres, where the land of IET is filled with greenery of thick and tall trees. The approach road divides the wooded land into two parts except where the buildings have been constructed. The natural environment has been preserved to remain naturally wood. The green campus as a whole provides a pleasant environment, to the students and staff.

Hostels:

  • Institute has constructed three independent Boys Hostels and one girls hostel.
  • Hostels have total 288 rooms with capacity to accommodate two students in each room.
  • The hostel has the standard capacity to accommodate 600 students approximately.
  • The hostel provides students with internet facility, common room and a TV hall.
  • All the rooms are well furnished.
  • The hostel also provides the students with daily newspapers and periodicals. 

Classrooms:

  • At IET we have four Individual blocks for different departments of engineering. As we name them A- Block for the Mechanical engineering department, B- Block for Computer Engineering & Information Technology department D- Block for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering & Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Department & M- Block Which is the Administration Block.
  • We have 6 Classrooms and 6 laboratories in each of the 3 blocks as we name them A block, B- Block & D- Block.
  • The classrooms are very species & comfortable. Each classroom has a setting capacity of 60-70 students at a time. We also have facilities for LCD projector in some of the classrooms.

Library:

  • The Library of IET DAVV started in a small room of the Institute Building (Block-A) in the year 1997, and moved to its present premises in 16 September 2000.
  • The Library has grown in size and content to take the present shape. With the developments in computers, microelectronics and communication technologies, the behavioural characteristics of the information seekers have been changing rapidly and the library is trying its best to adapt with the technological advancement. For the last six decades, the library has been the lifeline of the academic activities of the Institute.
  • The Library is well equipped with modem facilities and resources (print and electronic) in the forms of CDROMs, DVD-ROM, online databases, micro-documents, video cassettes, books, journals, patents, standards, theses, reports.
  • Library Collection (print and e-resources): The Library is having a collection of more than 35,000 books, subscribing about 80 print journals, and providing access to online full- text journals and several abstracting databases by Central Library of DAVV. The collection consists of Books, Back-volumes of Periodicals, Theses, Conference Proceedings, Standards, Reports, Microforms, and CD-ROM/DVD-ROM Databases and Audiovisual materials.

Bank:

  • Institute has extension counter of State Bank of Indore in its premises to fulfill the banking requirements of all students and staff members.
  • The bank also has an ATM Machine.

Canteen:

  • Spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at IET's campus.
  • A complete and planned meal is served in neat, clean and hygienic surroundings.
  • Apart from north and south Indian nutritious break-fast, lunch, the canteen also serves appetizing Chinese food. Tea, coffee and soft drinks along with snacks are also available.
  • All the items are reasonably priced.
  • Monthly Mess facility is also available for the students as well as staff members.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 3 hostels are there for boys and 1 hostel for girls. Fee for hostel is Ra.22000 and mess fee is Rs.2200 per month. PGs are available near college but rent is Rs.3000 to Rs.5000 per month. The food quality is not that great.
