The Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering, IAE for short, is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is part of the Sha Shib Group, which has over 30 different kinds of aircraft, across their various institutes. It is run by the Institute of Management & Technologies.

The IAE Bhopal Courses are open to students who have completed their 10+2 and admissions are based on merit. The Institute offers Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, which is a three-year course. It is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation [DGCA], Ministry of Civil Aviation Department, and Govt. of India. After successfully completing it, students are eligible to sit for their AME license exam.

Students get the opportunity for hands-on experience, through training and placements, while at the Institute. Moreover, the graduates are often placed in leading aviation-related organizations, both nationally and internationally.
