Cabin Crew Services and Hospitality Management:

  • The minimum eligibility for the candidates is to pass Intermediate Examination from any recognized Board of Education for Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics, Chandigarh admission 2024

  • The age limit for the candidates in getting admission is within 17-26 years old.

  • Both genders are eligible for this course.

  • For the female participant the minimum height required is 157 cm and for the male participant, the minimum height required is 170 cm.

  • The weight of both male and female should be proportionate to their height.


Pilot Training(PPL/CPL):

  • The candidates interested in Pilot Training courses are required to pass in the intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education.

  • Particular candidates must have at least 50% marks in the Physics and Mathematics subject in the intermediate examination.

  • Those candidates who don't have a Physics and Mathematics can join in National Institute of Open Schooling’s On-Demand Examinations and start the Pilot training course.
  • The candidates also need a class II medical and fitness certificate from a designated physician or surgeon. 

  • The minimum age required for the candidates is 16 years old.

  • For every participant, the vision in one eye must be perfect (6/6 eyesight) and if one eyesight is having imperfection of (6/9 eyesight) then that must be correctable to 6/6 eyesight after treatment.

  •  The candidates must be free from the disease which hamper the normal function of the body.

  • The candidates must have 70% marks in the examination with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent diploma in engineering for the direct admission.
  • If the student with less then 70% marks in the intermediate examination have to pass the aptitude test for Pilot admission.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering:

  • The minimum eligibility for the student is to pass in intermediate examination.

  • The candidates must have an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics and chemistry subject in the intermediate examination.

  • Or the candidates also have a Diploma in any branch of engineering with an aggregate of 50% marks.

  • The candidates must require a certificate to show physical fitness and free from colour blindness from recognized MBBS Doctor.

Air Ticketing and Travel Management:

  • The candidates interested in Air Ticketing and Travel Management are required to pass in the intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education.

  •  The candidates also required a minimum of 50% marks for better recognition for the admission.

  • Those student having marks less the 50% are considered after the interview.

Pilot Ground Class:

  • The candidates interested in Pilot Training courses are required to pass in the intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education.

  • Particular candidates must have at least 50% marks in the Physics and Mathematics subject in the intermediate examination.

  • Those candidates who don't have a Physics and Mathematics can join in National Institute of Open Schooling’s On-Demand Examinations and start the Pilot training course.
  • The minimum age required for the candidates is 16 years old.

  • Make sure that the candidate is not having any disease that hampers normal functioning of the body.

Online Application Procedure For Pilot Training:

  • The candidates are required to visit the Official website of Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics, Chandigarh to get the online application link.

  • Once getting application form filled out the details with valid information.

  • If the application form is filled then upload the self-attested copies of your academic qualifications and a passport size photo. 

  • Then the candidates are required to pay Rs.5000 as an application/Registration fees accordingly.

  • After filling the form and payment of fees then the candidates must send a mail to "admission@igiaindia.in" with payment proof.

Online Application Procedure For Cabin Crew, Airport Ground Services, Air Ticketing & Aviation Courses:

  • The candidates are required to visit the Official website of Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics, Chandigarh to get the online application link.

  • Once getting application form filled out the details with valid information.

  • If the application form is filled then upload the self-attested copies of your academic qualifications and a passport size photo. 

  • Then the candidates are required to pay Rs.3000 as an application/Registration fees accordingly.

  • After filling the form and payment of fees then the candidates must send a mail to the college with payment proof.

Offline Application Procedure For Cabin Crew, Airport Ground Services, Air Ticketing & Aviation Courses:

  • The candidate has to visit the official website of college to download the application form.

  • Once the form is downloaded in PDF format then fill it properly with valid information.

  • After filling the application form the candidate has to click on the "Payment link" to pay the application/Registration fees accordingly. 
  • Make sure that the candidates are having payment proof of application/Registration fees.

  • Then sent a mail with scanned payment information (Transaction Id and amount).

Admission Process

  • Once the application process is done then students are called for admission respectively.

  • The applicant for Procedure For Cabin Crew, Airport Ground Services, Air Ticketing & Aviation Courses is called for the interview and Group Discussion.

  • But for the student applying Pilot Training and satisfied all eligibility criteria are directly admitted.

  • Once the candidates are selected they have to make a fee payment.
