Infrastructure Facilities at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, [IISER] Berhampur:

IISER is well equipped with all the basic facilities required for the students. The campus provides well-equipped apparatus required for the science and research field. The college has a computer science lab, central library, guest room, hostel for both boys and girls, medical facilities, cafeteria, security, and transport facilities.

Central Library Facilities: 

Started in 2016 by MHRD the main motto of the library is to provide excellent information to the students and the faculty in the field of science and research. The college makes sure that the library is meeting the growing needs of the students. The library provides vital information to both Bs-Ms and Ph.D. background. The library has a vast collection of books related to physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, computer science, and environmental science. The library operated with the help of KOHA software and manages. The library has over 2800 books, 10 magazines, 2 journals, and several other e-journals.

Hostel Facilities:

The college has 8 hostel buildings in total out of which 5 are for boys and the rest are allotted to girls. The hostel buildings are equipped with all the basic amenities required for students. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Hygenic food is supplied to the hostel building through mess facilities. The hostel is enabled with wi-fi facilities and students can get access to them from any place in the building.

The hostel follows strict rules and regulations against ragging and sexual harassment. If caught in any kind of activity strict action will be taken against them. 

Guest House Facilities:

The college also provides guest house facilities for visiting people. The rooms are neat and clean, well maintained and good management services are provided.

Medical Facilities Facilities:

IISER, Berhampur provides medical facilities to the students. Well trained medical staff are present round the clock for medical assistance.
