There are scholarship options offered under the state and central government schemes. Loans, if required, are easily available at low-interest rates, given the reputation of the institute.

IIM Udaipur is a student-run campus with 30+ SCOs (Student-run Campus Organizations). All major festivals and innumerable events are organized throughout the year. We have 3 major fests - Solaris - the Management Fest, Audacity - the Cultural Fest, and Utkrisht - the Sports Fest. Life, in general, is very active and the students are constantly getting a lot of experience in organizing and participating in a number of things.
Phase 2 of the institute has been completed. All the major facilities such as Academic Block, Hostels, Mess, and a number of food eateries are fully functional. The mess and hostel charges are included in the fees and usually amount to about 20-25k for 3 months.
The daily routine is usually common for the first year for all students. The second-year has a more dynamic kind of schedule depending gon the electives chosen by the students. The teaching and faculty quality is excellent. We have case-based learning with the pedagogy and outlines tailor-made by each professor for his/her respective subject. All faculties are top-notch with a great experience of the corporate and teaching world.
The course fee for me is a little more than 17 lakhs for two years. The scholarship options are the same as offered under the state and central government schemes. There is also the provision of the Director's award and scholarship for the top performers of the institute.
I did my internship in the Brand Management profile at Wonder Cement Limited. The stipend was quite good, There are a number of top companies that hire from IIM Udaipur for all profiles i.e. Marketing, Finance, Consulting, HR, Operations, Analytics, etc. You can find the placement figures on the IIMU official website.
The entrance exam is the CAT itself. Udaipur is included in the list of 10 (9 now) institutes which conduct their admissions under the CAP (common admission process). The process would consist of - clear CAT, shortlisted under the CAP rounds, PI and WAT round, candidature considered for admission if cleared the PI and WAT.
Tight schedule, makes you ready for the rigors of life after. Excellent faculty, faculty comes down from IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad due to their respective connect with IIM Udaipur. Case studies are top quality, the education here is exemplary.
Total fee is ~13 L. Loans are made available at the admission desk, you can choose your bank preference, at will, it's extremely easy. There are a lot of government scholarships one becomes eligible and a good choice for after getting selected here. There are maybe one or two scholarship opportunities from the institution itself too.
The Institute focuses on academics and research, over placements. The same is quite good though but treated as a secondary objective. I did an Entrepreneurship Program in the summer, instead of an internship. The institution has support mechanisms for the same. A healthy mix of marketing, finance, operations companies come for placement. An average package should be about ~14 LPA, highest packages can go up to 25-30 LPA. The alumni network is quite helpful and supportive long after leaving the institution.
Need a decent CAT Score for getting a call, ~96 is the cut off percentile. Then after GD PI, one has to reserve for joining their seat by making a deposit. The Institute is well managed and the rest of the admission process will be easy to go through.
