IIHMR University Scholarship Details

Shri P D Agarwal Scholarship Policy for students of MBA (HHM/DH/PM/RM/DM) admitted for the academic session 2021 - 2023

IIHMR Jaipur grants scholarships in the form of tuition fee waivers to potential students based on academic merit. The guidelines for IIHMR Jaipur scholarships are given below.

MBA Hospital and Health Management

Scholarship

• Name of Scholarship: Shri P D Agarwal Scholarship
• Total Number of Scholarships Available: 15 Scholarships
• Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded to students based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria:
• 65% or above aggregate marks in MBBS
• 75% or above aggregate marks in BDS
• 85% or above aggregate marks in any other bachelor’s degree
• 85 percentile or above in CAT/XAT
• 95 percentile or above in MAT/CMAT/NMAT
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 each student

MBA Digital Health

Scholarship

• Name of Scholarship: Shri P D Agarwal Scholarship
• Total Number of Scholarships Available: 5 Scholarships
• Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded to students based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria:
• 60% or above aggregate marks in MBBS
• 70% or above aggregate marks in BDS
• 80% or above aggregate marks in any other bachelor’s degree
• 85 percentile or above in CAT/XAT
• 95 percentile or above in MAT/CMAT/NMAT
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 each student

MBA Hospital and Health Management and MBA Digital Health

Freeship

• Under freeship, a 100% fee waiver will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Economically Weaker section (EWS)
• Total Number of Freeship available: 1 seat for SC/ST/OBC and 1 seat for EWS
• Eligibility Criteria: Freeship will be awarded to students based on combined merit prepared for MBA Hospital and Health Management and MBA Digital Health (including all rounds of GD-PI) prepared at the time of admission.
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 9.60 lacs each student

MBA Pharmaceutical Management

Scholarship

• Name of Scholarship: Shri P D Agarwal Scholarship
• Total Number of Scholarships Available: 15 Scholarships
• Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded to students based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria:
• 75% or above aggregate marks in any bachelor’s degree
• 60 percentile or above in CAT/XAT
• 80 percentile or above in MAT/CMAT/NMAT
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 each student

Freeship

• Under freeship, 100% fee waiver will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Economically Weaker section (EWS)
• Total Number of Freeship available: 1 seat for SC/ST/OBC and 1 seat for EWS
• Eligibility Criteria: Freeship will be awarded to students based on combined merit (Including all rounds of GD PI) prepared at the time of admission.
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 8.40 lacs

MBA Rural Management

Scholarship

• Name of Scholarship: Shri P D Agarwal Scholarship
• Total Number of Scholarships Available: 15 Scholarships
• Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded to students based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria:
• 50% or above aggregate marks in any other bachelor’s degree
• 50 percentile or above in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 each student

Freeship

• Under freeship, a 100% fee waiver will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Economically Weaker section (EWS)
• Total Number of Freeship available: 1 seat for SC/ST/OBC and 1 seat for EWS
• Eligibility Criteria: Freeship will be awarded to students based on combined merit (including all rounds of GD PI) prepared at the time of admission.
• Amount of Freeship: Rs. 5.25 lacs

MBA Development Management

Scholarship

• Name of Scholarship: Shri P D Agarwal Scholarship
• Total Number of Scholarships Available: 15 Scholarships
• Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded to students based on meeting any one of the following eligibility criteria:
• 50% or above aggregate marks in any other bachelor’s degree
• 50 percentile or above in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT
• Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 each student

Freeship

• Under freeship, 100% fee waiver will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Economically Weaker section (EWS)
• Total Number of Freeship available: 1 seat for SC/ST/OBC and 1 seat for EWS
• Eligibility Criteria: Freeship will be awarded to students based on combined merit (Including all rounds of GD PI) prepared at the time of admission.
• Amount of Freeship: Rs. 5.25 lacs

Terms & Conditions

• Scholarships are not guaranteed to all the candidates fulfilling the above criteria.
• A limited number of scholarships in each program (as mentioned above) will be awarded based on the above criteria and a first-come-first-serve-basis at the sole discretion of the Admission Committee of the IIHMR Jaipur.
• The total scholarship amount will be adjusted in the last instalments. The amount of Scholarship will not be given directly to the student.
• Benefits under freeship and scholarships can not be availed together. Students who received freeship will not be eligible for availing scholarships along with freeship.
• Freeship will be awarded to students based on a combined merit list prepared (Including all rounds of GD-PI) at the time of admission.

Other Terms and Conditions

• The IIHMR Jaipur reserves the right to add, withdraw or modify any of the criteria, amount, and count for all scholarship details mentioned above at any time. The decision of the University will be final regarding the award of scholarships to deserving candidates. The Academic Department of the University will maintain the records related to the grant of IIHMR Jaipur scholarships.
• Every candidate wishing to apply for the freeship shall be required to submit SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate from a competent authority.
• Candidates from the SC/ST/OBC/EWS have to determine their eligibility for gaining scholarships per the prevalent Rules and Regulations of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Any student who is already in receipt of another scholarship, whether from the central government/ state government/ UGC/ NSP/ AICTE/ AIU/ any other body, must mention the details while applying for IIHMR Jaipur Scholarships.
• The Scholarships may be discontinued for availing any misconduct in the campus, like involving in the act of ragging, misbehaviour, etc., on the recommendations of the Head of the IIHMR Jaipur.

Note: Besides the above Indian Institute of Health Management Research Jaipur scholarships, a tuition fee waiver for all serving defence personnel will be allowed at 40% of the tuition fee for the duration of the MBA program. This exemption is based on their employment and is not related to the scholarship policy described above.

Loan Assistance at IIHMR University, Jaipur

All major banks provide bank loans for courses in IIHMR Jaipur. All the candidates who wish to apply for the bank loan may formally take admission to IIHMR Jaipur by paying their first instalment. The student may share the bank and branch details where candidates wish to apply for an education loan. The admission department will help the aspiring candidates to understand the loan procedure and all the subject-related required documents.
