Established in 1998 by prominent industrialists and generous NRIs, the Indo-French Educational Trust (IFET) is dedicated to promoting education and research in engineering and technology. The Trust seeks to gather and disseminate effective ideas, methods, and techniques in these fields. BE/B.Tech Courses: 

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, with a minimum overall aggregate of 50%.

Selection Criteria

• Admissions are based on merit and followed by TNEA Counselling.

Admission Process

• To apply for BE/B.Tech courses, candidates must apply for TNEA through the official website. The application for TNEA is to be filled online via Anna University's official portal.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official TNEA website.
2. Register by providing a valid email ID, phone number, and other necessary details.
3. Pay the application fee.
4. Submit the application form.
5. Print a hard copy of the completed form.
6. Attach all required documents.
7. Submit the application either by post or in person.

• Class 10th & 12th mark sheets
• Date of Birth certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Hall ticket of 10+2
• Permanent Community certificate
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)

ME Course: Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have completed a B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
• The merit list will be based on 50% weightage to the aggregate marks of the B.E./B.Tech./equivalent degree and 50% weightage to the Institute’s test/interview for all applicants.

Selection Criteria

• Admissions are based on an entrance exam followed by TANCA Counselling.
• In case of vacant seats, GATE-qualified candidates will be given preference.

Admission Process

• GATE is required for candidates applying for M.Tech or Ph.D. programs. The registration process and required documents are outlined below.

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, College ID, Employee ID, or a Notarized Affidavit containing Photo, Signature, Date of Birth, and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate, Provisional Certificate, or Course Completion Certificate
• Mark sheet for V/VI/VII semester
• Final-year students must submit a Provisional Certificate Letter as per the format issued by the Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Department.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE must provide their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE if using professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate or Disability (PwD) Certificate (if applicable)
• For candidates pursuing a higher degree or master's, the qualifying degree certificate must be submitted.

MBA: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.

Selection Criteria

• Admission to the MBA program is based on the candidate's performance in TANCET.

TANCET Application Process

• Candidates appearing for TANCET must have a minimum of 50% marks in their Bachelor's degree.
• The application fee is INR 500 for general category candidates and INR 250 for reserved category candidates, which must be paid before submitting the application.

How to Apply?

1. Visit the Anna University website and register for TANCET.
2. Provide personal details and college information to create a new user ID and password.
3. Log in with the generated credentials to access the TANCET application form.
4. Complete the form by filling in required details and uploading a recent photograph.
5. Submit the application with the fee and take a printout for future reference.

TANCA Counseling
How to Register?

1. Register online through the official TANCA portal.
2. Enter an active mobile number and email address.
3. Fill in the required personal and educational details.
4. Review and submit the form.
5. Proceed with the online payment of the fee.

Documents Required
Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents during TANCA counseling registration:

• Mark sheets of 10th, 12th, or 3-year Diploma
• Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate, and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet
• Transfer certificate from the institution last attended
• Valid GATE score card and TANCET hall ticket (for GATE-qualified candidates)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Nativity Certificate in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate (if applicable)
• Identification certificate for Srilankan refugee candidates (Tahsildar certificate, Visa, Passport, Police registration letter)
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)

Scholarship Application Procedures

At the time of admission, students are provided with comprehensive information about various scholarship schemes, including the Scholarship Information Systems and portals for both State and Central Government scholarships. Students are advised to have a bank account and link it to their Aadhaar number. Submission of essential documents such as Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, and others is mandatory for the scholarship application process. Most government scholarships are disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the students' bank accounts.

   Students, along with their parents or guardians, are encouraged to visit the National Scholarship Portal and the State Scholarship Portal for registration.
