ICFAI University admission is open for the 2020 academic year. Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India University was established in the year 2008 under the sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India University Act, 2006. The University is a member of AIU, CII and AIMS and is included in the list of Universities maintained by the University Grant Commission (UGC). ICFAI University desires to offer world-class, innovative and career-oriented professionals through the numerous courses provided by them at the UG, PG and Doctoral levels. ICFAI University B.Tech admission 2024 registration is ongoing. The last date to apply is July 26,  2024.

The courses at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral levels are provided by ICFAI University admission 2020. The University also provides Diplomas for fresh Graduates and working professionals in various specializations. The admission procedure is strictly based on merit in the qualifying degree. During the process of selection due weightage is given to academic distinction, awards in sports/ debates/ cultural events and other extra co-curricular activities.

Courses Offered by ICFAI University 

Various disciplines of UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral courses are offered by ICFAI University admission 2020. The University avails a different set of programmes for fresh graduates and working professionals in accordance to their requirements. 

• The Bachelor's programmes include B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA, LLB and BBA LLB.
• At the Postgraduate level, MBA and MCA courses are offered by the University.
• The University also provides Diploma in Technology as a part of the UG course and PGDCA as a part of Masters.
• ICFAI provides a separate set of courses exclusively for the working professional which includes Diploma in Technology, PGDCA, MBA, and Ph.D.

ICFAI University Application Form 2020

The candidates can fill the application form for any of the courses online or even download it from the official website of the University. 

1. Visit the official web portal of ICFAI University and click on ‘Apply Online’ for the chosen course.
2. Fill out the necessary details asked for in the online registration form.
3. Upload a passport size coloured photographs while filling the application form.
4. Make a payment of INR 500/- towards the cost using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
5. The prospectus will be sent after the completion of the submission process.
6. The candidates can also download the application form, fill it, make the necessary payment through demand draft in favour of ‘The ICFAI University, Jharkhand-Fee Collection A/C’ payable at Ranchi and sent it along with the necessary documents to the University. 

ICFAI University Admission Fees 

Based on the type of course and its duration ICFAI University fee structure varies for different programmes.

• The tuition fees for B.Tech and B.Tech lateral entry is INR 40,000/- per semester for domicile and for non-domicile INR 44,000/- per semester along with a one-time refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000/-
• INR 54,000/- for domicile and INR 61,000/- for non-domicile is the per semester MBA academic fees for the fresh graduates.
• The program fee for Ph.D (Part-time) is INR 40,000/- per semester for students domiciled in Jharkhand and INR 45,000/- per semester for non-domicile

ICFAI University B.Tech Admission 2020

The University offers Bachelor of Technology i.e B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral courses for 4 years and 3 years respectively at the Undergraduate level. The Engineering programme is offered in three different specializations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering. The successful completion of B.Tech will be acknowledged by a degree from ICFAI University, Jharkhand subject to University regulations. 

ICFAI University B.Tech Eligibility

The applicants should have passed Intermediate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects with a minimum age requirement as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination for the B.Tech programme. To seek admission to B.Tech Lateral a pass certificate in 3 years Diploma is required.

ICFAI University UG Admission 2020

At the Undergraduate level, ICFAI University provides B.Com, BA, BBA, BCA, BBA LLB and Diploma in Technology. The duration of most of the Bachelor's programme is 3 academic years comprising of six semesters. The Diploma in Technology (Polytechnic) includes four specializations like Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mining Engineering.

ICFAI University UG Eligibility

The eligibility to any of the UG programme except Diploma is the successful completion of class 10+2 in the relevant field with a qualifying score. The applicant to Diploma in Technology is required to pass class 10 with a subject combination of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. 

ICFAI University PG Admission 2020

The Masters programme provided by the University include MBA, MCA, and MCA Lateral. Masters of Business Administration and Computer Application Lateral is course for 2 years whereas Masters of Computer Application last for 3 academic years. On successful completion of the programme the students will be awarded a degree by the ICFAI University, subject to University regulations.

ICFAI University PG Eligibility

The admission to the PG course is subject to the successful completion of Graduation in a relevant discipline by the applicant. MCA course requires the candidate to have completed BCA or B.Sc (IT or Computer Science) and MBA requires Graduation in any discipline with a qualifying percentage. 

ICFAI University Working Professionals Admission 2020

The University offers a plethora of programmes for the working professionals at the Masters and Diploma level. These courses include Diploma in Electrical, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration. The academic duration for MBA is 2 years, a year for PGDCA and 3 years for Diploma in Technology.

All the courses offered to working professionals require work experience of a minimum of 2 years along with a Graduation degree in any relevant field. The eligibility criteria for admission is listed in the table below:

ICFAI University avails part-time Ph.D in Management to cater to the needs of practicing corporate executives and faculty members in the domain of Management. The duration of this programme is a minimum of 3 years and is extendable to a year is special circumstances.

To seek admission to the Doctorate programme, apart from the Master's degree or M.Phil degree in any relevant field the applicant is also required to have work experience of at least 3 years in Industry/ Banking/ Financial Services/ Government/ Academia, etc.

  - There are three specializations being offered in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral) which include Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering. 

• Can an MBA student opt for dual specializations?
  - Yes, any MBA candidate has the flexibility of choosing more than one course from the eight elective courses availed which are Marketing, HRM, Finance, Banking, Investments, Insurance, Accounting, and IT & Systems. It will be offered to a minimum number of students enrolling for a particular elective course and availability of faculty. 

• What is the selection process to Ph.D programme?
  - The selection to Ph.D (part-time) is based on the screening of application, Research Aptitude Test and personal interview.
