• (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
• State Board or Equivalent exam will be too granted. 
• All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.

National Loan Scholarship

• A student with 50% and above in higher secondary examination or equivalent may apply for National Loan Scholarship.
• First preference will be given only to those who have secured 60% and above.
• A minimum number of forms are sent by the Director of Collegiate Education every year, to the college.

Harijan Welfare Scholarship Under State Scheme

• Students belonging to Adi-Dravidar converts are eligible for above scholarship.
• The annual income of their parents should not exceed Rs.50,920/-

Scholarship to the Differently abled Students

• Prescribed forms of application can be had from the Director of Social Welfare, 486, Anna salai, Nandanam, Chennai – 600035, on requisition with self-addressed stamped envelope.

Scholarship to the Children, Grand Children of Freedom Fighters

• The students who are the children or grandchildren of freedom fighters, with monthly income does not exceed Rs.560/-can go for this scholarship.

Defense Service Personnel’s Children

• Children of Defence Service Persons can apply for full fee concession.

Scholarship to Children Of Ex-Serviceman

• Children of Ex-Servicemen can contact the District Soldiers & Sailors and Airmen Board Office for the supply of application form.

Harijan Welfare Loan Scholarship

• The Scheduled Caste students who are staying in the hostel can apply for the award of Harijan and Tribal Welfare Loan Scholarships.
