HPNLU placement help students achieve internship and placement offers. The university has a placement cell that provides placement assistance and opportunities to eligible students. Various reputed law firms and corporates like Amazon, Pepsico India Co. Pvt. Ltd., DLF Power and Services Ltd., Advani and Co., etc. recruit students for internships and final HPNLU placement. Since the university was established in 2016 and the first graduating batch was in 2021, placement details like the number of students placed, HPNLU highest package, HPNLU average package, etc., are yet to be announced.

HPNLU Internship

The HPNLU placement cell organises various internship drives for students every year. HPNLU students get a chance to do an internship with reputed Law firms, Judges, Advocates, Tribunals/ Commissions, NGOs, and Corporations. Some of the Law firms and Corporations that participate in HPNLU internship drives are tabulated below.

HPNLU Placement Cell

The main objective of the placement cell, known as the Placement Assistance Cell (PAC), is to train and prepare students for the Himachal Pradesh National Law University placements. The cell consists of faculty members and student coordinators, who work in unison to provide the best internships and placements. Some of the important activities of the HPNLU placement cell are:

• Organising workshops, seminars, and guest lectures
• Providing placement training for students
• Organising internships and placement drives
• Industry interactions

HPNLU Placement Procedure

The step-by-step process for conducting HPNLU placement is described below.

• The placement cell will send invitations to potential recruiters. Interested recruiters will revert.
• Pre-placement discussions are organised to help students to know more about the recruiters and the job profiles.
• Screening processes like written tests and group discussions are organised to shortlist the students.
• An interview is organised for shortlisted candidates.
• An offer letter is issued through the placement cell for selected students.
