About Grahbeta College, Midnapore

Garhbeta College, Garhbeta was estalibhsed in 1948 by the reowned freedom fighter Late Gobinda Kumar Singha. It was affiliated to the University of Calcutta with Arts and Commerce stream in intermediate standard at first. With the establishment of the Vidyasagar University this college became affiliated with the University with effect from 1985. After that the college experienced rapid development and today it offers honours courses in thirteen subjects in Arts, Scince and Commerce with Office Management and Secretarial Practice as a major subject.
