GGTU, or Govind Guru Tribal University, formerly Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University, was established in 2012. It is located in Banswara, Rajasthan. GGTU offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programs in engineering, yoga, science, humanities, law, education, management and hotel management.

GGTU has a separate University College of Engineering (UCE) that conducts engineering courses at the institute. It comes under the SFS mode and is a part of the Ajmer Engineering College Society. GGTU is set to have a fully-fledged infrastructure composed of academic blocks, laboratories and sports facilities. GGTU also offers placements to students. In the past, students were placed at an average salary of INR 3.6 LPA.

GGTU Admission Dates 2024

GGTU Courses

GGTU offers seven full-time courses in management, yoga, education, law and hotel management. The University College of Engineering offers BTech in four disciplines, civil engineering, computer science engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. GGTU Departments

GGTU has two significant departments that conduct all the courses at the university. The UCE is a separate establishment for engineering studies.

GGTU Admission

GGTU offers admissions 2024  are currently ongoing. The undergraduate courses are offered through the affiliated colleges at Pratapgarh and Dungarpur. The Banswara campus offers postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programs such as MBA, LLM, MSc, MA, and PhD. The admissions are entirely based on merit.

GGTU Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria differs based on the course. Some of them are listed below. 

BCom/BA/BSc Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed 10+2 in any subject from a recognised board.

BTech Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed 10+2 in Physics and Mathematics from a recognised board.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed Graduation with 50%  from a recognised board/university.

GGTU Result

GGTU publishes all its results online on the official website. The students can access their semester results under the examinations tab. The results are published in pdf documents, and students can collect their mark sheets later.

GGTU signed a memorandum of understanding with Mohanlal Sukahdia University, Udaipur, to work together and develop a curriculum for skill education. This MoU also covers exchanging ideas and research interests.
