Infrastructure

Spread over an area of 15 acres, the institution is endowed with unique natural scenic beauty. The college is housed in the huge building comprising three separate blocks. It has a team of 87 well qualified faculty members headed by the Principal and an equally efficient group of supporting staff. Besides guiding and inspiring the students for academic excellence, the institution makes special efforts for the all-round personality development of about 1142 youth admitted to its care. 

The college has a separate block for the Central Library and the Auditorium. The library named as ‘INDIRA GANDHI PUSTKALAYA’ has a huge collection of books, reference books and journals.

Library Facility

The students have the facility to get reserved the books which are already issued to other students. The issuing of the books is done with the help of computers. In 2009-2010, a new reading hall was built with a seating capacity of 100 students. The students read newspapers, magazines, career-guidance books etc. They also prepare their projects and study line.

To inculcate the habit of reading, the students are asked some questions from the daily newspaper. The highest scoring professors/students are given some prizes by the library. By this they are developing and improving their reading habits and competitive skills as well. Some good quotations are displayed in the reading room. Book of the week is also displayed so that they are attracted towards itand are curious to read that book. A suggestion register is also kept here for the students to give their suggestions.

The library has also prepared a computerized data base of all the students and distributed their identity card. The students also use the internet facilities provided by the library. There is also the facility of E library. College professors and scholars have been allotted their ID passwords, by which they avail the facility of reading their required e-books at home or in the library.
