Admission to first semester of B.Com. degree course shall be open to a candidate  who has passed one of the following examinations conducted by a recognized Board/Council/University:

  1. +2 examination with three of the following subjects securing at least 45 per cent marks in the aggregate or
  2. +2 Examination with at least two of the following subjects securing at least 50% marks in aggregate;
  3. +2 Examination securing at least 50% marks in aggregate;
  4. Any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent to (a) or (b) or (c) as given above with requisite percentage of marks given under each clause. Provided that a candidate seeking admission to the first semester of B.Com. should have passed in the subject of English at the +2

    Please keep following documents ready before filling the form:

     

    • A copy of downloaded college prospectus.
    • Matriculation certificate
    • 10+2 DMC
    • Certificates of all lower examinations passed (For PG courses only)
    • You need colored passport size photograph with light background of yourself and your mother and father.
    • A valid mobile number in active mode.
    • Voter card number
    • Aadhar card number
    • Bank account details

  1. Chose the class you are seeking admission to.
  2. Fill in all the basic required fields like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number and e-mail id. and click on submit button. You will also be required to fill your own password before submitting the form.
  3. On successful registration you will be given a Username and Password on-screen. Note it down. Please keep it safe and secret. It is required to continue further to complete the application form and for use in future too.
  4. On registration SMS will also be sent on registered Mobile No. containing your Registration No./login ID and password for future purpose.
  5. Complete the application form by filling the required fields starting the choice of class you are seeking admission to and then complete personal profile, like category, annual family income, etc. and click save button.
  6. Select category general or reserve from the drop down menu. and then save the information by clicking on  save button.
    NOTE: To apply under different reserved categories different forms should be filled.
  7. You will choose the compulsory and optional subjects for admission by clicking Add Subjects of Selected Class button after selecting the row of the class of admission.
  8. Fill lower exam details starting with 10th exam results and then next higher classes one by one you have passed by clicking the Add Lower Exam Details button, Uni./Board name and Panjab University Registration number (for students who are already registered with University), Last exam passed, Exam Roll number, marks obtained, etc.
  9. All fields marked with red * are compulsory.
  10. Click save button every time you complete a part of the admission form to save the information you have filled.
  11. Before submitting the form, check your particulars very carefully. After final submission of form you will not be able to edit your form on your own.
  12. For any correction in the online filled form, which you can not edit on your own, you should report in the college on 18th and 19th June 2016 (Between 10.00 am to 2.00 pm) only along with your original documents.
  13. Merit lists and waiting lists along with venue and time will be displayed on college notice board and website (www.gcgldh.org) on 5th july 2016.
