Govt. Auto. College is one of the best college in Rourkela (Odisha). It provides regular clases and frequent questionare about the subjects to the students. There is no hard and fast rule to pass the questionare round. It just gives an outlook to students performance and our professor gives required attention to all the students. Govt. Auto. College gives little importance to attendence. But still students overflow in the classes. Many profersor encourage students to take part in activities not related to studies. Like our Prof. J. Apat (H.O.D Commerce) decided to have seminars every alternative weeks. Its was a game changer for the students. Many students actively took part in this session presenting many usefull and latest topics about commerce and all the happening. Beside from commerce all the other students from science and arts are given regular assignments to be completed. In commerce no assignment are given. Govt. Auto. College has a variety of subjects. Right from under graduate, graduate and post graduate. Subjects are - Science, Arts, Commerce, Computer Science, History, Geography, Economics and etc. Students have the advantage to change the subject during the first semister itself, it wont be allowed afterwards. In Govt. Auto. College the professors are very efficient and hard working and very passionate about teaching. They donot try to make the students mug up but try to make us understand the basics. Its very helpful and donot make us marks oriented. It makes an all round development for us. Professors are very helpful inside and outside the classes. We can reach them any point of time if we have a querry not related to studies only.
