Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Arts and Commerce College, [GACC] Indore was established in 1960, affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Indore. It has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade and approved by UGC and AICTE.  

 Atal Bihari Vajpayee College, Indore National Premier Institute is also well known for sports, Air wings, and NCC operations. With faculties of Arts, Commerce, and Law, Atal Bihari Vajpayee college, Indore is continuously on a dynamic path of progress and today is the largest college in Madhya Pradesh with the highest number of scholars enrolled in the state. GACC, Indore Admission list is prepared on a merit basis every year. Library:

• Library of Atal Bihari Vajpayee College has over 200,000 books, and more than a hundred research volumes, rare reference volumes, research-based magazines, articles, and periodicals, etc.

Computer Lab:

• There are 2 Computer labs at Atal Bihari Vajpayee College with 51 computers, Internet connection, upgraded with software as per course requirement.
• One Computer Lab has been set up lately in the new building for management students with 25 computers.

English Language Lab:

• The English Language Lab at Atal Bihari Vajpayee College consists of 31 computers (HCL) with a considerably good configuration.
• All the computers are connected through LAN (local area network) with server (Master) computer, through which the commands are delivered to the students, sitting on the computers.
• The intention is to educate the students with computer-based English language learning with the help of software, available.
• To fulfil this requirement Atal Bihari Vajpayee College has got “Words Worth” software installed in all the computers.
• The English Language Lab became functional from 2015.
  

Seminar Hall:

• The Atal Bihari Vajpayee College has two seminar halls in the main building with 120 and 200 seating capacity respectively.
• The halls are designed in a way to accelerate the teaching-learning process using modern technological aids.
• Seminars, workshops, guest lectures, departmental activities are arranged in these halls.
• There is one conference hall in the new building equipped with an audio-visual setup. It is normally used for presentations, open PhD viva purposes.

• The Common Girls Room at Atal Bihari Vajpayee college has attached washrooms, two sanitary pads vending machines.
• The room is designed to give female students a place to relax, study, and enjoy indoor games during their free time.

Parking Area:

• There is a sufficient covered parking area for 2-wheeler with a capacity of 1000 vehicles.
