Globsyn Business School Scholarship Details

Globsyn Business School provides a variety of scholarships to students studying post-graduate management programmes. The National Scholarship Programme (NSP) strives to recognise merit from a wider viewpoint and include people who have excelled in non-academic fields. There are two types of scholarships available at Globsyn Business School. The following provides more information on the GBS Kolkata scholarship.

• Kalyani Scholarship
• Outstanding Achievers Scholarship

Kalyani Scholarship

• This scholarship is for the students who are from economically weaker backgrounds. It is offered to 7 students. 

Eligibility : Students with excellent academic records whose parents' or guardians' income does not meet the requirements listed under "Parental Income Ceiling" are eligible for the Kalyani Scholarship. The following list includes the requirements for this scholarship's eligibility.

Class 10/equivalent: >= 75%
Class 12/equivalent: >= 75%
Graduation: >= 60%
Qualifying Aptitude Exam (CAT/MAT etc.) >= 80 percentile
Other outstanding achievements (documentary proof required)

The students must maintain an academic CGPA of 6.0 in all semesters and actively participate in Globsyn business school's Beyond Education Activities.

Outstanding Achievers Scholarship

• This scholarship is offered to students who are exceptional in sports or cultural activities. It is offered to 6 students.

Eligibility: For athletes, the student must have received recognition from a prestigious sports association at the State or National level for participation in any outdoor or indoor sporting event. Students who achieve distinction or achievement in the arts from prestigious associations at the regional or national level will be eligible in areas like debate, quizzes, dance, drama, etc. Every semester, an assessment of the students' performance would determine if they qualified for a partial fee relief.

The amount of Scholarship is INR 100000 each.
