Library

A well equipped library is heart of any academic institution and FGIET library has a very active learning ambience.

The FGIET library has a wide collection of appox. 18,000 books in fields of science and technology. The present collection includes Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Hand books and Directories. The Library is also having a subscription of 41 Journals & Magazines which includes 14 International & 27 National Journals. The Whole Library is computerized and starting e-journals through AICTE-INDEST Consortia of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in this session. Library is open Seven days in a week.

Computer Lab

The computer centre is designed, laid out and equipped so scientifically that the students can spend hours together at the terminals without fatigue and with total independence. The centre is fully air-conditioned.

  • It is equipped with comfortable chairs and colour monitors with low radiation in order to facilitate better and efficient working.

  • It is equipped with 180 numbers of Pentium-4 machines with colour monitor and printers of many types.

  • The computers are networked under the structured cabling scheme using manageable and unmanageable, high speed switches. It also has all licensed software required for both academic and other functionalities.

Hostel

  • FGIET have separate hostels for boys and girls which has hygienic and hospitable atmosphere with greenery all around to make them feel cozy.

  • It also has Round the clock water supply with an exclusive range of water cooler with Aquaguard filter and 24 hours security arrangements.

  • Wardens separately for boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel, take care of maintenance of discipline, academic interests, etc. in the hostel. Quality food is provided to hostellers.

2 hostels for boys and 2 for girls Charge is approx INR 40000 per year. Food quality is average like another college hostel.

  • There is one in-campus hostel for first-year boys, an off-campus hostel for others and two on-campus hostels for girls at Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
  • But the condition of the hostel is not very good. Mess food is awful.
  • There are many PG option available for the students.
  • Classrooms are just like a school class. AC is only for first-year students only.

  • Only 2 hostels are there at FGIET. The hostel fees are Rs 40000.
  • Other options are good at a reasonable price.
  • Food is average as all messes it includes are in in the hostel fee.
  • Labs are good but the classrooms are average.

There are three hostels in college and hostel fee is 40000. After first year boys have option to go and take pgs and hostel food is too good

Library is average and WiFi is available.
