The Faculty of Management Studies of BHU functions under the Institute of Management Studies. It was established in 1968 and is a public institution offering only Management courses at PG and doctoral levels.
FMS HU is an academic branch or unit of BHU which was established in 1968 offering Management programs at both UG and PG level.
FMS BHU has been ranked #36 among Management institutes in India by NIRF 2020 rankings. It offers summer internships and placements to its students in partnership with certain well-known companies.
The Department also offers students summer internships and on-campus placements. It partners with over 100 companies which take forth the recruitment process.

The institute offers courses like MBA, PGDM, & MBA- IB for all the eligible and interested candidates. The courses are offered in different specializations such as as- Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, and operations. Admission at the institute can be done through the entrance exam and Academic performance. The entrance exam is followed by the Group discussion and Personal Interview round.

For International Candidates:

The application form for the above mentioned courses can be submitted through the online or offline mode. Before applying for the courses candidates must have applied for the entrance exam and also check the eligibility criteria for their dream course.
The institute offers different courses and the application form fee is different for all courses. The application form fee for MBA-IB is Rs. 2000 for the general category and Rs. 1000 for SC/ST/PC categories. The admission form can be submitted on the website of the BHU.

During the counseling, round candidates must have to carry all the required documents which are mentioned above.
CAT, CRET, GMAT is the entrance exams whose score are accepted in this institute. Entrance exams are conducted to know the understanding of students toward the topics. The university itself conducts the entrance exam for the Ph.D. students and the CAT scores are accepted for the MBA-IB program.
First the course according to the eligibility and the interest. Prepare for the entrance exams first. Because the entrance exam is only the way which can increase your chances to get selected for the respective course. During the preparation make sure you are reading about the latest happening in the world. Read the newsletters or newspapers for regular updates, it will help you during the Group discussion round. Make sure you are preparing for the PI round also because it is the toughest round for all.
The admit card for all the entrance exams will be released before the date of the exam. Candidates need to download the admit card from the respective website of the entrance exam and then need to take a printout of it. Carry your admit card and one identity proof during the time of the exam.

First of all, you have to clear your entrance exam for taking admission in BHU. Cut off is not so high and if you have potential than you can do it easily.
