Existing Campus

EIM is spread over some 20,000 sq ft on three floors of a landmark building in the heart of Kolkata. Its fully air-conditioned, wi-fi enabled campus reflects a typical corporate ambience that familiarizes students with the environment wherein they would subsequently structure their careers.

Upcoming Plans

EIM has purchased around 4.5 acres of land in South West Kolkata with the objective of expanding shortly, EIM’s facilities as well as setting-up a premium residential campus.

Library

The central Library, with over 6000 books, periodicals, national and international journals, scholastic publications and educational CDs, serves as the Institute’s nerve center.

The Institute has membership of Developing Library Network (DELNET). Students can access DELNET Databases, Books and Journals online from the URL : http://delnet.nic.in

The Institute has subscribed to “CMIE Financial Database” which provides information on equity market, financial performance of different companies, agriculture and national reports

The Institute has also subscribed to “Ebscohost” online database (corporate resource net) that contains full text articles from more than 1300 quality journals and detailed company profiles on world’s 5000 largest companies.

IT Infrastructure

• The IT infrastructure includes a large number of desktops, over 100 laptops, dedicated private leased lines from multiple internet service providers, digital boards and rich internet and intranet resources.
• The entire EIM campus is wi-fi enabled.
• EIM also has in place both in-house developed as well as off the shelf purchased necessary software to enable wide access and use of IT-enablers.
• For sharing of information, course contents and class presentations EIM has in place a high-end FTP server and an intranet portal for students.
• The IT infrastructure of EIM is not only at par with India’s leading B-Schools but also under constant up-gradation to create an enriched state-of-the-art learning ambience.
• EIM also has a top-of-the-line videoconferencing system for real-time teaching of full-time courses by eminent Professors of US and European universities and for ongoing interfacing with B-Schools worldwide.
• State of the art firewalls and servers provide students, faculty and the staffs a secured and user-friendly computing environment.
