Library

Any discipline of study requires material of study, references and information collated at one place; library. We are moving rapidly in technology sophisticated world but hard copy is a preferred medium chosen by students from ancient eras. Our library wardrobe consists huge quantum of books split between authors, topics, subjects, magazines and newspapers. An entire silent zone with mechanized search system is serviced by librarian who is skilled enough to handle all concerns of students.

Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Agricultural Business Management has well furnished library equipped with adequate number of books and journal. The library has optimum infrastructure as per the norms of MCAER. The library has specious and well furnished reading room enriched with newspaper, popular journals and with additional facility of display of new arrivals. Reading Hall of area 1,500 Sq. ft and with a seating capacity of 80 students is available in the library. The library also has extended period of timings to provide reading facility to learners. Besides, library has reprographic facility and internet connectivity for knowledge accession. The library of this institute has optimum number of books, journals and titles as per MCAER norms The College Library has a collection of 2140 books, 972 Text Books, 1030 Reference Books and 138 General Books. The College also subscribes for 22 periodicals. Moreover, library has additional collection of books for general knowledge, communication dynamics, aptitude test, presentation skills, soft skills and personality development required for professional grooming. Nevertheless, consistent efforts are made to enrich library with latest arrivals with relevance to current and contemporary needs as per the suggestions and recommendation of faculty and students. The library has well equipped e-library with an excellent collection of e-books, e-journals, NPM (non printing material include books CD, software installable CD).

The library is spread over a spacious area of 2000 sq. ft; the library is manned by our experienced staff from 09.00 am to 06.00 pm to reach out to our valued members. Faculty members provide the necessary support to the library staff in procurements of the books / journals by recommending the same. Mrs. Gholap Vaishali is the chairman of the committee and members are Mrs. Benke Seema, Ms. Patil S. N. and Mr. Kumbhar V. M.

A kind of conference room has a seating capacity of 500 with Projectors, Internet access unit, Television set, VHS, CD/VCD units is utilized for events, presentations, meetings, conferences and lectures.

A mandatory facility as a part of modern & technology based education fully equipped and automatic seminar halls are architected with advance mounted projector and screen. The student themselves can operate utilizing additional facility of audio – video and recording system with prior permission.
