Life in BMN is in general fun and a good learning experience.
Clubs and Associations-
The college offers plenty of opportunities to be part of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Sports Committee.
Intercollegiate Cultural Fest (Akanksha) includes Arts, Style, Literary, and Performing events.
Apart from this, there internal college celebrations such as the Foundation Day and Freshers' Meet where you get to contribute/participate.
The area where the college is located (Matunga) has girls' hostels available at nominal rates.
The food in college is okay-ish. My suggestion is that it's okay to have food in college once in a while.
The quality of classrooms, labs, and libraries is great.
The daily routine is a mix of lectures and practicals.
Every semester is followed by an examination- both theory and practicals.
Quality and Method of Teaching-
I am extremely happy with the quality of teaching. The professors are highly experienced and one of the best in the industry.
Moreover, they pay attention to the student's needs and are easy to approach.

I chose to specialize in Food Science and Nutrition in the 2nd year of graduation. Post my graduation, I applied for a Masters's degree. So I did not avail of the Placement facility.

To start with, you can expect to get an entry-level position in a wellness company or a food company with a salary package of approximately 2 Lakhs per annum.
Salary depends on your chosen area of specialization. In my case, I chose to go for a Masters's degree in order to get a better salary package and more in-depth domain knowledge. And most students go for a post-graduate program for better job prospects.

The eligibility criteria for Bachelors in Home Science course is as follows-
- Must have passed the Std. XII examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:
2. Any 1 of the Modern Indian/Foreign language or Information Technology or Any 4 subjects carrying 100 marks each.
2. Any 1 vocational subject carrying 200 marks
3. Any 3 subjects carrying 100 marks each.
Must have passed the Std. XII examination with the Minimum Competency based vocational courses (MCVC) conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Must have passed an examination of any other recognized Board or Body Recognized as equivalent.
