The Institute boasts of state-of-the-art instructional facilities with the lecture halls and auditoriums o the departments being equipped with excellent audio visual aids. These lectures are also made available to the students over the intranet accessible to them in the departments as well as hostels.

Library

DIET Rishikesh has identified its potential to be a creator of new knowledge in different branches of technology and sciences. To aid this in various forms. The library has a total collection of 4000 books and has subscribed to above 200 print journals.

Research Facilities

The departments of DIET Rishikesh provide cutting edge research facilities to its students to carry out research as a part of their academics. The institute hosts joint research collaborations with a number of reputed industrial organizations like ONGC, BHEL, THDC etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provides accomdation to students in spacious , well furnished and Elegant rooms with all modern facilities . A hostel warden looks after the well being and safety of all students and inculcates students to be in discipline at all times .Students may approach the warden freely should they face any difficulty in the hostels. The wash rooms are clean with hygienic toiletareas.Hygienic and nutritious food is provided at the minimum possible cost in the mess.

Classroom Facilities

The Institute is well equipped with sufficient number of LCDs, projectors, project slides , educational audio video cassettes , CDs, television and other gadgets that are essential for any first rate professional technical institution.

Laboratory Facilities

The institute has well equipped laboratories and workshops are training grounds for building professionals .Diet has state of the arts labs and workshops that enable students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory .Laboratories and workshops are equipment and are supervised by qualified technicians.
