Eligibility Criteria at University of Kashmir, Srinagar:

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed:

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised University to be eligible to apply.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for LLB:

• Candidate must have a Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University to be eligible.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% to be eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for MA:

• Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University to be eligible to apply for this course.
• Candidate must have done the same discipline in BA as the course they are applying for in MA.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA:

• Candidate must have passed Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Management/Arts/Science from a recognised Univerity to be eligible.
• Candidates who have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Com:

• Candidate must obtain a Bachelor's Degree in either of the three B.Com/BBA/BBM/BBS to be eligible to apply for this course.
• Candidates having a BBachelor's Degree in BA/ BSc with PG Diploma in any of the following streams: Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Cost & Management Accountancy are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Ed:

• Candidate must have passed a B.Ed Degree in any stream from a recognised University to be eligible to apply.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% in their Bachelor's Degree.

Eligibility Criteria for Distance M.Sc:

• Candidate must obtain a Bachelor's Degre in B.Sc from a recognised University to be eligible to apply for this course.
• Candidates applying must secure a minimum of 45% in their Bachelor's Degree.

Application Process at University of Kashmir, Srinagar:

Application Process for B.Ed, LLB, MA, MBA, M.Com, M.Ed, Distance M.Sc:

• Candidates must fill in the form by going to the University Webpage.
• Candidates must click on "UG Admissions" or "PG Admissions", according to the course they are applying for.
• Candidates must fill in all the mandatory fields.
• Candidates must fill the personal details as per certification.
• Preview the forms displayed on the screen.
• If details are correct click on submit.
• If there is any variation, candidates must make corrections and then submit.
• Deposit the prescribed fee of Rs.200/- at any branch of J&K Bank on the slip which shall be automatically generated with the pre-filled form against the Account Number: 0007010100002622 payable at J&K Bank, Hazratbal.
• Candidates must get the print out of the form and note the form number for future reference
• Go to "Log in" and use the form number to see your admission details.

Fields in the Application Form:

• Entrance Roll No
• DOB
• Personal Details such as Name, Parent's Name, Full Address etc.
• Enter your previous exams details: Course, Roll No, Session, Year, Max Mark, Obtained Marls, Result, and University Name.

Enclosures:

• Original fee paid copy of Bank Slip.
• Attested Photostat copy of Marks Certificate of all Qualifying Examinations.
• Category Certificate.
• Permanent Resident Certificate.

Grounds for Application Rejection:

• Incomplete forms.
• Ineligible Candidates.
• Mutilated forms.
• Duplicate forms.
• Forms submitted after the last date. 

Note:

• The student can apply either at Srinagar or at Jammu.
• If the candidate submits the form at both places, they will be disqualified from the admission process without any notice. 

Admission Process at University of Kashmir, Srinagar:

• The selection of a candidate is based on his/her performance in the Entrance Examination.
• Where two or more candidates have secured equal marks in the entrance test for admission to a particular program, the tie shall be decided on the basis of aggregate merit obtained in the qualifying examination.
• The admission to MBA will be made on the basis of latest CMAT score.
• The admission to M.Tech will be made on the basis of latest GATE score.

Reservation:

• 67% - OC Merit Category
• 33% - Reserved Categories in order of merit.
