Academics & Faculty : The infrastructure may make you think it has all facilities and qualified faculty. Simply if you are passionate about engineering just don't go there your future will get demolished. Projects: they expect that engineer means you have to bring some welded or any structure made by you. I gave a project where the whole idea was designed for future of space research and they simply don't listen to you because you have to do it by yourself am I an engineer or a welder. The overall experience is weird. Assignments are given to students only for revenge purposes and definitely not for educating. Food is awful at DSEC. Simply if you once became a student you have to wait like anything to meet the principal and in case your parent comes to see principal you will be sorry that you are born. They will make them wait like hell. You have to pass they need your fees and marks and nothing else. If you are an eminent sportsperson, please do not spoil your career . If you love hobbies and values of life stay away. But if you just want to pass and you can do anything for that you can join this college

Fees & Scholarships : This is frankly a business organisation rather than an educational institution. If you don't pay the fees at the beginning of the year they will send you out of the college when you pay you can attend the class at DSEC. They claim that they collect only university prescribed fees. But the extras they collect in the name of books ,deposit, etc, If you are a middle class stay out. Government scholarship options are available but once you are a scholarship student you will have to walk to the office for a hundred times to sit in the class. You will be responded in the office like strays.

Placements & Internships : All the above-mentioned internships and placements practically don't exist. The placements are simply worst at DSEC. Everything has existence in records and nothing else.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Don't say that I did not warn you. The worst place on earth to spend Rs 60000 per year for hostels. Despite all holidays you have to pay full fees and the food is awful at DSEC. If you are health conscious runaway.

Clubs & Associations : The college has everything in records but nothing really exists. The leader of the NSS student society itself is being treated like dog. Many talents are buried here at DSEC.
