Placements & Internships : I am an Associate Marketing Manager at Imagine event management and I did my post graduation in MBA (marketing) from CVRU Bilaspur (2013-15). Many of us were directly placed here through on-campus placements. The placement record of this college is fantastic. I remember, 86 out of the 89 students in my batch were placed on-campus. The training and placement cell is active, serious and has strong connections with various companies inside and outside Chhattisgarh.

Academics & Faculty : Apart from the basic academic necessities, consisting of a library, study rooms, conference rooms, labs and research centres, it also has extra-curricular facilities such as a football ground, an athletic track, TT Room, badminton court, music room, etc. I graduated in the year 2016 and as the college area is so big, my favourite past time was sitting on the ground with my friends during the evening and enjoy the cool air.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The campus area is beautiful and huge making the college very easy to locate from a distance. The area here is divided into many blocks for different departments and is super organised. Proper labelling has been done so that no one gets confused. I found everything very easy to locate on my first day here. The college was recently renovated in the year 2017. The washrooms, hostels, canteen and other blocks are new and amazing. The surrounding fields give a beautiful overall feel to the college.

Clubs & Associations : CVRU Bilaspur is well known to hold various sports fests and events in Chhattisgarh and across the central zone. They have a football, basketball, cricket, volleyball and possibly many other teams within the college which participate in various inter, university, state and national level tournaments. I was a part of the basketball team (2014-17), I used to play point guard and we had also won the Bronze medal in Annual Chattisgarh sports meet. Those were some good old times.
