About CP and Berar ES College, [CPBESC] Nagpur

C.P. & Berar Education Society’s College, which commenced its activities in the year 1960. The College is celebrating its ‘Golden Jubilee’ this year (2011). This college, along with few other educational schools and colleges are functioning under the aegis of C. P. & Berar Education Society. This Society is also one of the oldest and most reputed societies in Nagpur. We are indeed proud to be the part of such Institution. Two teachers with profound ambition to educate the masses founded C.P. & Berar Education Society in the year 1930 by planting a tiny sapling in Mahal, Nagpur, in the form of a Night School.

The same sapling grew into a large evergreen tree in last eight decades, running three secondary schools, four junior colleges and one of the prominent colleges of Nagpur.The Department of Business Management was established during 1998 especially to converge our society’s tangible and intangible qualitative and quantitative resources on those blooming youths who join us. We at the department believe in developing ethical values in the present era when morality seems fast depleting.

The Department has an independent building situated at a prime location in the city in serene atmosphere at Civil Lines near Telangkhedi Garden, and in the close vicinity of Futala Lake.It is situated opposite to C.P. Club, which is one of the prestigious clubs of Nagpur. Adjacent to our premises is the Forest Department and vast expanse of its land. Our premises are away from the crowded and congested areas of the city. The tranquil atmosphere acts as a catalyst in the learning process.

The placement cell of our department is headed by Dr. Ashish A. Linge. Our placement cell constantly strives to make the students industry – ready by sharpening their skills through organizing guest lectures, industry visits and soft skill development workshops.
